  • I picked up my Lucid Touring on Dec. 29, 2022. Car is running great for the first week. However, I am very disappointed that I cannot play my music in the car. In both my other cars I have either a memory card or a USB drive with all my music. I can select the media very easily and listen. This Lucid has no ports for this and very limited options for playing music if someone is not a member in Spotify or other streaming app. And so far no Android Auto. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

It is true that the ports on the Lucid do not (yet) allow audio or data transfer. Many of us are hoping they can patch that in a software update later, though no one knows if that's in the plans for sure.

Meanwhile, you can listen to any music that's on your phone via Bluetooth. And Lucid is definitely working on a CarPlay/Android Auto implementation, which will allow much higher quality listening to anything on your phone. Word has it that's coming imminently. But it's been delayed before, so don't quote me on that.

Also, just so you know, this is a profile post. So it is only showing on your personal profile. If you wish to ask a question to the entire group, it'll be more visible if you post it on an existing thread, or start a new thread in one of the many categories listed.

Again, welcome, and congrats on your car.
