    Just to add at 76-80K for many pvt party sales = no sales tax 4 some buyers. Buying from a dealer, you will pay sales tax probably at least 7K or so.

    Question, why would there be no sales tax for pvt party sales? You would still need to register the vehicle and pay taxes when you register, no?

    15 or 20 states that private party to private party sales happen. There is no sales tax ….. off the top of my head, Arizona, Illinois, Montana, Michigan, Ohio. & many more just google it
