    Lucid Air roof box

Here’s some more pics at random angles in daylight. Yeah 30W is primarily enough to power the tail light. But it’s hooked up directly to an XT60 adapter which plugs into any compatible powerbank to store solar charge so if you park outside on a sunny day or drive for a while under direct...

    Lucid Air roof box

Will post. The coolest feature is the solar panel on the top of it which u can’t take a pic of easily. Agreed that it looks almost custom made for a black air. Loving it so far!

    Lucid Air roof box

Unfortunately the tail light isn’t directly wired or connected in any direct way to the brakes or the vehicle operation specifically. It relies on a motion sensor and so activates upon sensing deceleration I think.

    Lucid Air roof box

I guess that might require the entire shape of the box to be specifically engineered to match the exact curvature of the lucid and take into account the cross bar positioning etc. But would be nice! This Enroad box was the most aero one that I could find, especially compared to the options...

    Lucid Air roof box

I think it’s widely variable. But you can put anything from luggage to sporting equipment to camping gear etc. Anything that you want that will fit basically. I think this box is about 14 cubic feet volume.

    Lucid Air roof box

I really wanted the original Lucid roof box to materialize but it doesn’t seem like it’s coming. So I started looking at other roof box options but I couldn’t find one that I thought looked as good as the one Lucid had designed. Ended up backing a Kickstarter project for a roof box and it...

Yay Hardware upgrade CPU and memory

The CCC v2 upgrade was 100% worth it on my opinion. Noticeably improved performance on every single interaction. Question: I was given the old CCC v1 unit by the service center after upgrade. Any tech savvy forum members have any ideas how I could use that/play with it for fun?

    Opinions about Hey Lucid

My experience with Hey Lucid is that it’s quite slow, unreliable, and sometimes inexplicably incompetent. But @hmp10’s story is making me wonder if it’s diabolically brilliant instead…😂😂

Michelin pilot sport all season 4 brief review

The tires have been very durable, no problems that I’ve experienced. The skinny spoke HRE’s do get bent maybe a bit more easily than I would have hoped I suppose. I’m over 40k miles now.

Brief review of latest OTA and long road trips

This is old news by now but I just haven’t gotten around to commenting - sorry if this topic is repetitive. I find that the latest OTA update has advanced HA to the point where long road trips have become quite easy and pleasurable (especially compared to pre-HA or early HA days). The biggest...

Hey sorry for my delayed reply. I haven’t had any problems with the roof racks and as far as I can remember they were pretty easy to install. Mainly just carry my bike. Nothing fancy although I wanted to buy the cargo pod. I think the roof racks are great, and look decent too.

    4 Rusted Rotors

I had my guy apply high heat ceramic paint to that inner part almost 2 years ago and still holding up perfectly today. The other parts will rub off with brake usage as has been mentioned above.
