Bummer. The computer can't deal with a simple arithmetic calculation? Don't see the point of the limitation. I think it would be cool to see how high the mileage can go in various driving conditions.
I recently took a trip to the NC mountains and on my return trip down the mountains I achieved what i thought was incredible mileage. I charged up and during the trip down the mountains, I went 37miles using only 3 kwh, or 12.3 miles/kwh. Also, for nearly 30 miles the trip meter did not register...
Two things we all need to know about the fob battery.
1. The battery initially used in the fob is pure junk, made by an obscure Chinese manufacturer that Amazon doesn't carry. When you replace it, use a good one.
2. If you store your fob too close to the Lucid, then the battery will wear down...
I too have incurred the defect on the side mirror. I have been in discussions with the service center about it as well as the regional service manager for the past 7 months, without resolution. I was told by them that ALL Lucids have this crack/seam on the side mirror and it is "normal". It...
Your poor steering wheel alignment is due to a poor wheel alignment. The steering wheel is supposed to be properly aligned when the wheel alignment is done. Given that fundamental error in wheel alignment, you should ask for a complete wheel alignment to be redone. Happens often with my ICE cars.
That's a pretty lame effort to equate the fire hazard of a gasoline tank with an actively energized electrical circuit. A doubled line gas tank with the car shut off has zero hazard compared to an electrically energized circuit connected for several weeks. This is especially concerning...
Charging the battery causes the HV battery to heat up. When the temp gets too high the battery coolant gets circulated to cool it down, resulting additional energy consumption from the coolant pump. This is especially noticeable in high heat climates (i.e., AZ) so the coolant pump runs longer to...
Your fire hazard concern is legitimate, and I would not leave it charging for that length of time either. The Battery loss of charge is going to happen, that is the nature of batteries.
That being said, this forum concern for "phantom" lost charge is unfounded. The way the Lucid battery setup...
Induction chargers on the floor are already on the market. The EV manufacturers just to install the car chargers to match the floor charger. The floor charger has to be in addition to the port charger. It's not likely highway charge stations will have floor chargers anytime soon.
The Red Baron took a clandestine flight from Casa Grande AZ at 0900 on 09/12 to Riviera Beach FL, landing at 1000 on 09/16. He went through his PDI and successfully passed his bill of health, awaiting the go ahead for the next leg of his journey. He then went through the owner's additional...
Those Motor Trends mats were probably made in Bangladesh, where they have no worker protection laws. Those 12 year old's sometimes forget to add the "new car smell" chemical to the rubber mixing vats.
