So basically you use the Tesla app and get the discounted rate OR you use the Lucid app to not get the discount, but get true plug and charge? No possible way to just use plug n charge via the Lucid app and yet get the discounted membership rate coz we have that membership ongoing with Tesla?

I actually emailed Lucid CS I think yesterday asking if I could software update from the base DD2 to DD2 Premium by paying the $1500 since my sales advisor thought it was possible due to no new hardware. Haven't heard back yet.
