The placement of the differential before the planetary reduction is what reduces the torque by a factor of 7 (since it’s a 7:1 ratio planetary). Additionally, having 4 pinion gears instead of 2 reduces the load seen by half, so it’s really a 14x reduction! Gear bending failures (tooth breaking)...

Sure thing. I thing it would be fine in the middle row as the side seat + middle would be 32.5”. The third row is narrower than the middle row because of the wheel well, so I’m not sure the platform could extend all the way back there without needing to be angled or something.

For what it’s worth, I visited the Oakbrook studio today near Chicago and spent a while going over the Gravity with my SA. I was amazed at how low the step in height was, even with the cars suspension at max height. It would be great for kids or people who would have a tough time climbing up...
