Quick question for those of you who have driven EVs in the snow/ice. Do you still use regen braking on the snow and ice? Is there a way to have dedicated "all wheel drive" if needed? I've driven Quattro based Audi's for the last 20 years in the winter and have always been impressed with how sure footed and capable they are, just hoping to have a somewhat similar experience. I have a 2024 Air Touring, so I know it has drive to both ends.

What location or town are you located - just curious? I would not think it is any different. The Lucid is 4WD all the time. The traction is monitored 1,000 times a second. Therefore, power is not going to be an issue with challenging surfaces. If you are trying to stop, then your tires are going to be the big factor. Get snow rated tires and you should be in great shape. I called Tire Rack and got new wheels and Nokian tires. I figure if I slide into something or some mishap, it will be tire related. Therefore, I was not going to skip or compromise. Your decisions and solution may be way different than mine. Always here to help.

Thank you, I live in West Haven, between Ogden and the lake. I do a good bit of traveling during the winter months (just local) I have the 19" all seasons on the car. I looked into a set of dedicated winters and @approx 2k for the set I'm leaning that way for sure. Did you get the tire pressure monitors? I like having them, but am a bit concerned about having to get Lucid involved every spring and winter when I want to swap over.

Get the sensors for sure. They will connect automatically to your car (speaking of the Gravity). If on the Air, you can get a reasonable ATEQ or just bring it to be and I can sync the sensor - no issue. As far as changing the tires and wheels, any reputable tire shop can do it. I use either Big O or Discount Tire with good results.

Great! Thanks for the info. On TireRack they said that I would need to get Lucid involved.
