Virginia Owners

Congrats! Did you get the 21s? How are you finding it on the roads around here? I am thinking when I get the opportunity to order my Touring I may go with the 19s since 1, there is no all season offering on the 21s and 2...you know the roads around here

In Alexandria, I have a GT on order. How true to the EPA estimate have you found the battery mileage capacity? Thank you.

My GT has the 19” wheels. With about 2200 miles I’m getting 85% of epa rating in normal driving around town and 87% on the road at 72-75 mph. So far so good.

About 400 miles with the 21 inch tires

Has anyone had any interaction with the DAs in Tysons? They don't seem all that forthcoming with information and I am wondering if anyone else had any lucking getting more info regarding possible delivery times?

Although we are in Central VA our DA is in CA. Marvin from Tysons knows his stuff and actually delivered our car. We ordered it 11/12/2021 and it was delivered in early Oct 2022. Ours took a little longer because we ordered a silver GT and the silver paint was held up for a while. Once the paint became available the whole process moved very quickly.

That is great to hear. Marvin is my DA. I haven't had a whole bunch of interaction with him as my Touring VIN hasn't been assigned yet, but I was told that it would be soon when I went into the Tysons Studio this past weekend. I have a Red Touring that I am hoping to get as a super awesome Christmas present!

Once the VIN was assigned we had the car in less than 6 weeks. I didn’t care about a Christmas present, I just wanted it before the end of the year for tax credit purposes. I was told I could still take the tax credit because the car was under contract, but I wasn’t willing to do that. We didn’t pay for the car until we received it, and I said I needed it delivered before the end of the year. It all worked out well.

I would definitely love to get the Tax Credit. Though it won't deter me if I don't but I'm not turning away free money either. The communications I have had with the studio folks had been pretty positive about getting it by the end of the year if just barely. Either way I am looking forward to having my very own Lucid. It's an amazing car!

Yes, Luci is totally cool and I love driving her, but it is funny, because no one around here even pays her any attention. I also own a 2011 Maserati Maserati, and people are regularly checking her out and asking me about her.

Since I've gotten my Lucid, it's put so many people in traction as they've broken their neck trying to figure out what it is lol. I've had people follow me around the parking lot. It's quite flattering and confirmation I picked the right car!! 😁

Recently my husband was driving her and a guy chased him down and had him pull over so he could check her out.

That's awesome! It really is a head turner. If I had a nickel for every time I've heard "What is that?" I'd be able to pay the car off already lol. I'm thinking about getting some new wheels for the summer since I got the 19s for the harsh weather and horrible roads around here. Just need to find something nice that will handle the weight.

My Air GT has attracted much attention. I had a group waiting for me in the COSTCO parking lot over Christmas. Even with the less attractive 19" wheels it draws a crowd.

Any recommendations in the Nova area with PPF and ceramic coating. I am looking at American shine and detailing in sterling

I have used Detail Authority for my Lucid Air and another previous vehicle…very happy with the work and quality.
