Weird. I finalized a Mojave interior with vanilla DD and when I called him, my DA advised against changing my order to Tahoe and DDP because they'd charge me the post-increase price, and I may not get the car before end of year.

My DA had told me the exact same thing and I was settling for plain DD. Corporate HQ in CA called me directly and asked if I would like to change so I did. Called my SA and relayed message and he didn’t know they were doing this and even called CA and confirmed.

I see, thanks for clarifying. I suspect they won’t call me since I finalized Mojave and that would be two changes they’d have to sell me on.

Some may call that being pushy or desperate. I call it maximizing Q4 deliveries and letting customers know there's an opportunity to get a good deal on an expensive feature. You can always say no. I doubt the resale value of a Touring with DDPro will be $9,000 more than one without, but it's almost certain to fetch at least $1,500 more. Meanwhile you get actual features that already exist in pro, such as the 360 camera and lane centering.

Yeah, my guess is when you finalized, they didn't yet know how many slots they were going to have filled for year's end. They had to invite everyone and then wait for the majority of them to finalize their orders. Now that they came up short, they are probably looking for the most likely candidates to flip to the right spec. My guess is the folks who went for everything except Dream Drive Pro are the easiest to convince.

Pures are an entirely different assembly line. They can't simply have the Touring line start to build Pure.

My SA called a few nights back and essentially stated similar. If you have a fully loaded you'd most likely get it this year and be eligible for the tax credits with the usual disclaimers but if you didn't that they'd let you change the config.

With that said, I decided to go ahead and confirm with the following configuration.

I had my first call scheduled with my DA yesterday. Never received a call from him. (Brandon at Scottsdale location). Tried to call, generic voicemail, no call back, no email. I scheduled another call via their online calendar for today, we'll see, but not a great start.

I was also supposed to get a call from Brandon on Wednesday. No call, no reply to my follow-up email. Did you ever get in touch with him?

I got the call last week to change to DD Pro from DD to get the delivery before EOY and qualify for the tax credit. I added it and downgraded from 21 to 20 inch wheels. Right now the config is fully loaded.

Is anyone else seeing "Change Requested" when they go to their order page ?

Got a surprise call from lucid that my car is already getting prepped for delivery to Chicago and will be ready for pick up by next weekend! I’m kind of caught off guard. it seems like all of the fully specked tourings will definitely be deliverd by years end

My DA, Russell, called me today to discuss my Touring order. My Touring is Red/Santa Cruz/ Glass roof/DDPro/SS. Like others have reported they are forecasting delivery before the end of the year.
