Has anyone bought the iPhone 14 Pro (not Pro Max) and made sure it fits? The dimensions are fine. I'm just a little worried about the larger camera bump. I'm about to buy the phone but figured I'd check here first. Thanks.

I received my iPhone 14 pro yesterday. I have a Spigen case on it and it fits in the charging slot but it is tight

Charges fine. However the upper lens does rest against the back rubber mat and may rub against it long enough to damage it.

I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max with an Apple Leather case. Here is my observation:
  1. With the Apple Leather Case, the iPhone 14 Pro Max fits, but does not charge. Usually sliding an iPhone 13 Pro Max with an Apple leather case into the charging slot works as long as you stop at the camper bump. The iPhone 14 Pro Max with the leather case does not charge in any position.
  2. Without the Apple Leather case, the iPhone Pro Max fits and charges if pushed in until it hits the camera bump. I was able to also have it to continue to charge after I slowly pushed it in all the way. When pushed in until hits the camera bump, the phone does not hold well and flops over a bit. This is probably due to my excessive use of an iPhone leather case stretching out the holder. Without the case you can push the phone in all the way and you can close the sliding cover all the way if you lift slightly up on it to clear the top of the phone.

Have you tried it upside down?

Yes, but it's hard to tell if it's charging, since the charging indicator is at the top of the display. As far as I can tell, it doesn't charge, since I don't here the charging tone.

We also just got the 14Pro and the Spigen Tough Armor for our son.
The transfer process was the easiest and most seamless I've experienced.
Hat off to Apple, and hoping the EV industry will get there some day.

Thanks so much to all. Received my phone, put my case on it, and it fits nicely into the slot as long as you don’t cram it to the bottom.
Pro or Pro Max?

Do you need a magfit case to charge wirelessly?
You need a case that allows Qi charging to happen. Most do, nowadays.

You do *not* need one that is compatible with MagSafe, but I see no reason you wouldn’t get one and just cover all your bases.

Since my Apple Leather Case on the iPhone 14 Pro Max does not work, I went ahead and got a non-MagSafe clear (thin) cheap case. Well it does not work either and it's horrible at staying put on my MagSafe Charger. I ordered the Spigen case as described above. Will get it tomorrow and see what happens.

Yeah, your issue is the Max size I think; not saying it should be an issue. I think it’s a design flaw. The design of the wireless charging holder is my least favorite part of the car.

We have Amazon especial cases… casekoo and ESR and no problems charging iphone 14 pros in the slots.

I have the Spigen case for the 14 Pro and I CANNOT charge the charging slot. Had to use the cable.
Yep same here. Tested with the Spigen clear case (non-magsafe) and my wife's phone. It wouldn't charge until I removed the case. I ordered the magsafe case just to see if it makes any difference.

For the iPhone 14 Pro Max and a Spigen with MagSafe clear case, I’ve had no luck in charging.
