Odd charging problem

Today I went out and hooked up the lucid to the 220 plug in the garage with the supplied cable and adapter. The car said “ about to charge” and I went inside. An hour later I checked it and it said the same, no charge. I drove the car for lunch and tried again. Same thing after 5 minutes. So I have a Tesla charger on the outside of the garage ( same circuit, runs out of the same box) put the Tesla tap on it and charged right away. Is my cable bad? Any one else have a problem with the supplied cable

Is the short NEMA 14-50 plug fully pushed into the little Lucid box? Is the white light on on that little box?

Thought I saw the box light up the first time. I’ll try tomorrow and see if that’s the case.
