I have my home charging set to begin at 12:01 am. Last night I got message that charging started at 11:01 pm. I thought that the car had not adjusted to the change from daylight savings time. However, the clock in the car showed the correct time. I then unplugged, turned scheduled charging off, set it for 1:01 am, turned it on, and then and plugged it in. Message appeared on the screen the Charging is Scheduled. I went to bed.

This morning charging started at 7:00 am. when my wife walked into the garage with her phone in her pocket.

Any thoughts?

So it hadn’t charged or it started a top off?

No, it had not charged.

Furthermore, it happened again this morning. I plugged it in at 9:00 pm. The car reported "Charging Scheduled." I went to bed. When I accessed the app at 6:30 am it still said charging scheduled and then immediately started charging.

It seems like if the car is locked/sleeping at the scheduled charging time, it doesn't start. However, as soon as it wakes up in response to waking up the car with the app or proximity of the iPhone to the car, it starts to charge.

This happened with my Air after the time change as well. I turned off the charge scheduling, then reactivated it, and then triggered charging via the app for a few minutes, then stopped it. I then rebooted the car and the next evening, it started charging at the designated time again.

I did all of those things last night and went to bed. The behavior repeated itself. Today I set up my Home Assistant to wake the car after midnight. We'll see what happens.

Same problem here. Set to charge to 90% from 74%….woke up and found no change to charge level.

We are using a Tesla Wall charger, w/ Powerwall and gateway. The system is set to charge from 10p to 8a, but the car does not wake up from sleep to initiate/accept the charge. Scheduling it within Lucid also seems to fail.

I’d been warned at the software issues with Lucid…I agree it is the greatest failing of the vehicle thus far in the 13 days I have owned it. I do maintain hope (which is not the best course of action) that Lucid can address these numerous shortcomings.

The Air definitely does NOT like it when the scheduling happens from the charger. I don't know why.

I have to have my car charge before my wife's on our switcher because of hers goes first, then mine won't start after if the schedules charging time comes and it sees a charger plugged in with no power.

Last night I had a new behavior. Scheduled charging did not work as usual. I woke the car up at 12:15 and it charged to the 80%. Then, when the SOC dropped to 79%, it started charging again. This repeated one more time before I woke up.

Dropping to 79% is normal for me. Happens frequently but not all the times.
