2026 Lucid Air Touring
Hi everyone,

I’m happy to join the community! I’ve been following Lucid for a while and am excited to learn more about the cars and hear about other owners’ experiences.

I’m particularly interested in real-world range, charging habits, and tips for keeping the car in great shape over the long term. I’m looking forward to learning from the discussions here and sharing my own experiences as I get more familiar with the Lucid community.

What’s one tip you wish you’d known when you first got your Lucid?

Thanks for having me, and I look forward to chatting with you all!

@johnnysmith Welcome to the team. For road trips, stop at 350kw chargers only (use PlugShare app for the best data on chargers), and arrive with 10% or less SOC. It'll seem really stressful the first time you do it, but you'll waste a lot less time charging when you show up to every fast charger with 10% or less.

True, but make certain you have a backup plan if the charger is oos

And welcome

Welcome! I'd say to get a spare if you have low profile tires... Especially if you live in a place with potholes or similarly rough roads. Given the weight of the car, such thin sidewalls are more at risk of a blowout that can't be temporarily fixed. Then again, they are great for spirited driving, and they sure look cool!!!

Which Lucid did you get? I have a 2027 Gravity GT and just achieved a new efficiency milestone. Car only has 1000 miles, mostly urban driving, but the efficiency rose from 3.5 to 3.7 yesterday when I did a 100 mile drive in mostly interstate between 60-75 mph. Very pleased with that.
As for tips, I don’t really have any. The car has been great and pretty easy to figure out. No big surprises yet.
