Update regarding Phone as a Key availability for Gravity owners

Very well said!
This exactly. I don't think these are the wrong questions to be asking. I love DRIVING my Gravity, but the everyday annoyances of INTERFACING with the software that I hadn't had in either my 2018 Model 3 or 2024 iX are frustrating. Small conveniences that are missing. Inexplicable design decisions. I'm not trying to be glass half empty, as I'm obviously pulling for Lucid. That said, regardless of how far, as someone who has already chosen to buy/lease a Lucid, you want to bury your head in the sand, the rest of the car buying public is not - especially at these price points. Buyer perception is what sinks companies, not reality in most cases. By constantly delaying or not delivering table-stakes features at this price point, like PAAK, or simple conveniences like being able to advance through your Sirius XM presents with a steering wheel control, Lucid is only achieving the loss of a future sale. I'm not even discussing where they should be - at least at software parity with Rivian (forget Tesla, BMW, etc.) who just launched P2P.

when's the Ghostbusters update hitting?
That would’ve landed well. I can see the responses already, “No PAAK because they allocated resources to a gimmick” 😂

Having said that, Lucid does need to get some viral moments happening though to get them out of the constant negative social media funk and something like this could be a good stepping stone to do it. Christmas is coming, even if a little splash screen in the car came up on Christmas Day saying “Happy Holidays” and some snowflakes falling across the screen momentarily would generate some positive buzz for them (hopefully).

It makes them look incompetent. It’s been almost two years now. How could they possibly have been this far away from a feature they advertised? Same with the HUD. It’s just very strange for a company to insist they have all these things coming but then can’t deliver for years and years. I’m assuming the guilty parties are fired but it’s not a good look. And yet they somehow managed to design and release the Air which is the only really true impressive luxury sedan since the Model S. What happened!?

Agreed, we're not talking about a $300k roadster but rather basic features!

I guess the bright side is that no matter what Lucid ever does it could never be as stupid as pretending they’re going to make a flying car that does loopy loops and can fly.

And Silvio certainly will not walk out on stage with a diamond studded chainsaw, high on ketamine, steal everyone’s data and quit.

And yet Tesla probably has more preorders for that stupid thing than Lucid has sold cars in total unfortunately.
