Installed successfully, and drove an hour on my commute home with UX 3.0.

this is the most robust Lucid software update for me thus far! 😁

The layout and context dependent submenus are all very intuitive!

Love the larger AA footprint, customizable launcher, general layout, and overall robustness of this update!

Congrats to the lucid software team for a superb update!! I'm very impressed!

Hopefully, dashcam/halo is around the corner 🙏🏾
 
Anyone know how to do an infotainment reset in the new update? Neither the logo or brake+mic+X works for me.

Same here, I feel like an iPhone though just sitting here hoping I get this update soon lol like come on hurry up car lol

I read the same thing in a Google alert, but all I can find now is "select 2024 models will need the hardware update", so does that mean the May+ builds are good to go?
 
I saw this sometime ago to check for cccv2.

  • Wi-Fi Network Name: Connect to CarPlay or Android Auto and check the advertised Wi-Fi network name on your phone or screen.
    • If it is named "Lucid AP XXX," you have CCCv2 hardware.
    • If it is named "Android AP XXX," you have CCCv1 hardware. [1]
  • Spotify Connected Device: Open the Spotify app on another computer or phone while logged into the same account playing in the car. Check the "currently playing device" name.
    • If it shows "cccv2," you have the updated hardware.
    • If it shows "Lucid Air," it typically indicates the older CCCv1 system. [1]
 
For those of us without the hardware upgrade are we going to stop getting new upgrades/features on our 2022 ATs I wonder?

Hypotetically, what if there is a recall that requires OTA update. Lucid still need to maintain code branch and update "older" cars. I am guessing the version number will be 2.10.X.

Based on the current version 2.11 I am thinking it is simply a reskin of 3.0 UX with the same backend as 2.10. I am even thinking that CCCv1 would be able to run 2.11 without problems because it doesn't require additional computing power. However, all additional features that might be planned (dash cam, halo etc) would require more processing power. Based on this and the fact they won't include it in referal/rewards store and marketing email about upgrading the same day 2.11 (3.0 UX) was made available I am thinking they are trying to make $$$,

Does anyone who had their CCCv2 upgrade done have work order available that can post break down of the CCCv2 hardware vs installation cost?

If memort serves it is one price for both, $950. Remote service is included depending on your location I presume.

As I understand it, anyone with an April or later production date should be able to get the update, as that is when Lucid switched to the CCCv2 chipset, but don't quote me on that.

What makes you say that UX 3.0 does not require more computing power? I thought that was the overall point of the CCCv2 upgrade. More computing power to allow for better operation of the capabilities already onboard, plus the capability to handle new functionality of UX3.0.

When I got my upgrade installed I immediately noticed better touchscreen responsiveness and faster reaction time to commands and fewer needs to reboot. I'm told that this is because CCCv2 has twice the memory capacity and therefore more headroom. I also noticed after the 2.11 download that the system downloaded the maps for the state I live in so that if navigation loses internet connectivity, I can still navigate offline. And there is room to add more states if I want to. From that I infer that more memory / computing power is a big deal with CCCv2.

There definitely was a split. I recall getting corrected on what that split was, as I had mistakenly said that the labor was more than the part.
