Left touchpad double-clicks

Most of the time the left touchpad works fine (for clicking), but every once in a while it decides that all clicks are double-clicks and it does so for the entire ride. Each ride is either double clicks or single clicks and it's about 80/20 for single/double.

When it is "double clicking" then a short click will raise or lower the speed by 2MPH rather than 1MPH and a Left/Right click will expand or contract the following distance by 2 bars instead of 1. Also, it doesn't "jump" by 2, it increments by 1 twice in quick succession.

It doesn't seem like a hardware problem because when it is doing the double click thing everything is a double click very reliably until the next drive. If it were a hardware problem then it would happen all the time and depend on how I make the click - meaning I'd be able to try to get a single-click response when it is happening - but no such luck/ability...

I'm hoping that it's a software issue and that it will be fixed in an update soon, if anyone else is seeing the same symptoms?

I’ve had it happen a few times but hasn’t happened recently. Definitely seems to be a software bug though.

Has happened to me several times. Its on my list of issues to be repaired while my vehicle is in service for the drive system failure.

I've had this too. Thought it was just a sticky button at first, but yeah, it started working normally again next drive.
