Funky paint issue on Air trunk/decklid bottom (awaiting word from Lucid) but anyone else?

Am I the only one who looks at the bottom of the decklid/trunk? I would think this is easiest to spot on a white Lucid but has anyone else experienced this? It almost appears rust colored.

Here's the fun part. While I live in the Chicago area, my Air has spent 2 winters in the Phoenix area (from December to March) and rarely driven the winter of 2024/2025 and never in deep snow or icy horrid conditions (wasn't worth the risk to me).

From the middle to the right is very smooth to the touch but on the left driver side it is bumpy with a raised spot so my biggest concern is if this could be rust but the decklid doesn't respond to a magnet so is it even possible to be rust?

This has been there since taking delivery and the original assumption was that it was simply an area of dirt not properly addressed before delivery but full detail involving clay bar, polish and wax had no impact. The fact that the majority of spots in the middle to right passenger side is completely smooth leads me to believe this was some sort of imperfection in the paint process but why is the worst spot on the left driver side appear to have a roughness to it?

As mentioned in the title, I've reported this with photos to Lucid so I'll gladly update here once I get a response from them.

I thought that the deck lid was a composite material and not metal. That looks like it could be a paint issue

No. We initially tried some spot cleaner with no results. So Not only does it not 'wipe off' but it doesn't budge from clay bar, polish and wax process (detail process). It appears to be imbedded into the paint and a flaw in the paint process itself.

I've presented that question to Lucid on what material it is and is this a paint contamination issue or something else? As I said, a strong magnet does nothing so I'm inclined to believe the decklid has no standard sheet metal UNLESS there is some under the 'composite' to help form it perhaps?

Rear is plastic front is aluminum I think.

You’re probably right then some sort of paint contamination like iron fallout in the booth or something. Idk if they use robots or people to paint them but their paint is usually pretty good. I’d think they can have this fixed at a body shop.
