Automatic Headlighrs

I’m having recurrent trouble with my Gravity’s headlights in the auto setting. They do not auto dim for oncoming traffic, and sometimes the brights come on unexpectedly when I’m among a crowd of cars in expressway traffic. Basically, I have to revert to manual dimming.
Is anyone else having trouble with this?

Are you sure they're not adjusting brightness around the cars? They're not supposed to fully dim. They're just not supposed to shine the brights at incoming cars. Actual language from Lucid:

I can’t be sure that they’re adjusting. I’m just aware when the brights icon is illuminated.
It became confusing because the blue brights icon would sometimes turn off (toggle to the green dims icon) and then back on without the traffic pattern or distance of other cars changing.
The brights would stay on even in expressway traffic when I was surrounded by other cars. I can’t imagine how it would adjust to not bother the cars I’m shining on in front of me.
It would make more sense to be on the dim setting in that situation rather than on bright, adjusting or not.

If you have Dream Drive Pro, it also comes with Adaptive Drive Beam (just added in recent OTA), which will instead of always dimming lights due to oncoming traffic or following cars, it will adapt the light beam pattern (due to it including 1000s of pixels instead of one big bulb) to avoid blinding drivers but still illuminate surrounding areas. I have noticed that due to this new update, the blue brights indicator will come on and off at what looks kind of random. The most noticable thing I see is that when following another car, my lights will be bright up to about the license plate area of the car in front of me and then drop off noticeably above that. I have not yet had any issues of oncoming cars flashing me due to my brights.

This is the acid test. If no one is flashing you, the matrix headlights are working. The blue high beam indicator stays on all the time, but incoming drivers aren’t being blinded.
