Just recently start having an issue with my Gravity GT not charging at home. It has no issues charging at a Tesla Supercharger. Issue just appeared this Friday. Used the Lucid charging cable that came with the Gravity like I have several other times. I was using a 50amp plug and kept requesting I unplug and plug back in. Did that several times. Then tried a different 50amp plug then swapped to a 20amp plug. Still same issue. Traveled to our second home where we have a hardwired 48amp charger same issue message to unplug. Did the reset at both locations and even let the Gravity sit for a couple hours before retrying. When I go to a Supercharger starts charging like normal. Contacting Lucid later this morning when then open. Anyone else had a similar issue?
 
The mobile charger has a light on it with different flash patterns for different types of errors. You can find the patterns in the manual. My guess is your mobile charger has a problem, not your car - is there another level 2 charger around you could try?

I got my Lucid AGT in October 2020. In the ensuing couple of weeks after I took delivery of the car, I experienced the same problem you described above with your Gravity.

To make a long story short, the problem was with the "WunderBox". Finally, Lucid replaced the Wunderbox and they also replaced the battery of my AGT. Thereafter, it worked fine.

I have used 2 different chargers. One a 40amp that came with the Gravity and a 48amp hardwired charger. Both having the same exact issue.

Right, looks like AC charging is the issue. I second the opinion of a defective WunderBox
 
Just had Wunderbox replaced as well, although my vehicle said "Auxillary Power Supply error"
 
Huh - I was going to ask a very similar question.

My Gravity charges perfectly everywhere - except in my garage (I live in NYC and park in a commercial garage). They have a Lvl 2 NACS charger there and it regularly fails. So far, if they leave the charger in the car, it will keep periodically trying to connect/charge and will usually eventually connect and then, once it does, it charges perfectly.

I assumed it had something to do with that particular charger - but maybe it's the Wunderbox?
 
If your car charges everywhere else "perfectly" it might not be the car that has a problem
Seems to me the Wunderbox would throw some sort of error message if it was having a problem

I would think so too - Especially as I have never had any other Lvl2 or Lvl1 charger (or DC fast charger) give me any problems at all.

I figured I would ask this forum, though, in case anyone had heard of a similar issue. Absent anything else, I'm going to assume the issue is with this specific charger - but maybe next time I'm near the Rutherford Service location I'll stop in and see what they think.
 
I can eat a hamburger anywhere except this one place where I can’t seem to be able to eat it. Sounds silly but Occam’s razor says start with the simplest explanation.
And that would be the charger is broken or you have somehow set the location to be charge at zero amps

Well, that's the funny thing - the garage is full of Teslas - and the owner says my car is the only one that has problems on the charger. (I have the only Lucid - they don't like them because of potential liability costs if damaged). Also, if we just leave the cable inserted in the car, it will eventually connect and charge after multiple failures. It's all just strange...

To me it says the version of charger is having issues with handshake with the Lucid
Have you tried other chargers there? Are they all the same charger and version?
 
I'm thinking the same thing - but I figured I'd ask here to see if there were any other thoughts.

They only have two chargers, and both act the same. I have noted that when the chargers are engaged, the amperage can vary during the charging session. Not wildly, but if the session starts at 36 amps, it could easily drop to 28 amps at some point, and can go back up, as well. So, I am thinking there is something peculiar with their setup/wall connecters that is causing the problem.
 
There are indeed Tesla Super Charger stations that only work on Teslas (v2). The one's that are compatible with non-Teslas (v3 & the new higher voltage v4) are the ones that will show up on the Lucid's route planner. And, there are certainly older Tesla "home chargers"/destination chargers (L2) that won't charge non-Teslas.
Someone on this forum posted a way you could tell the difference by the physical appearance of the charger or cable connection to it or something but I forgot where I read that on here. Anyone on here know more about this??
