On my solo x-country trip recently, I used ChatGPT via CarPlay a bunch...asking it random questions about where I was visiting. I'd say "Give me a 5 minute summary of Omaha's history" and it would, 5 minutes... I asked about altitudes, populations, etc. I asked it about farming equipment I saw along the way and how it worked. I asked about artists I was listening to. I asked about a ton of things and got a lot of great info while killing time.
I can't say the answers were 100% accurate without checking, but it sure killed some drive time while educating me on a bunch of things. I think having conversational AI type interactions is awesome for road trips. As it ties into the maps and car even more closely, it will be pretty cool.

I'd like for the Lucid AI to be able to handle a query like "Hey Lucid... Add the next available rest stop to my trip plan", knowing what route I'm on, what direction I'm going, and what next available means. How about a query like "Find me an alternate route without as much traffic" and know I'm talking about getting out of the traffic I'm in now? Perhaps a query like "Set a reminder to turn on the AC tomorrow 20 minutes before 8am." Lots of possibilities.
