That white looks so good! We would probably go that route on our next one. Congrats!

Yes I'll report back in a few days. Suffice to say there's some improvements, and some of the same complaints. Both in physical build quality and in software.

My wife drives a P3 and I drive the Gravity.

It is certainly apples to oranges - they are different cars for different purposes at very different prices.

We love the P3 (came from a Model Y Perf) for its ride, handling, quiet and interior finishes and design. We have the 22" wheels, which give it the "Hotwheels" look. Bad software experience until *BANG* they fixed it with an OTA and it's been fine since. I'm not a fan of the interface, but I like the car. We're looking at an iX3 for the replacement next year.

The Gravity is my daily. We all know the software and hardware issues, many of which I have been spared from. One of the things we notice when we get in the P3 after driving the Gravity is how noisy the P3 is. Wait - noisy compared to the Gravity! The P3 was our standard for silence on the road, until we got the Gravity. P3 sounds like a window is open (actually, it is probably mirrors and trim causing wind noise that Lucid has managed to minimize) compared to the Gravity. I smile every day I walk up to or drive the Gravity. Light years ahead of anything else on the road, IMHO. Others will catch up and the Neue Klasse iX7 will undoubtedly be quite a car, but unless they make a third row that is usable and provide a real frunk, Gravity will continue to blow them out of the water. I keep my electric cooler in the frunk, alongside my HPD track bag. Keeps the space behind the third row clear for the everyday.

'Bolded' some content from your note above :) Thank you for the reassurance! Comments such as this are what prompted me to roll the dice and become an owner (delivery now end of August). Apparently current deliveries are not quite perfect yet, but I hope to have a problem free 'plug and play' ownership experience what with 3.6.2 on the way followed by ongoing OTA updates adding to my confidence that LUCID is continually striving to be 'better and better'. Bring on the post-delivery 'perma-grin' 😁!

That's actually a standard complaint with the P3 for which they've claimed to have a fix, but it never works.

What does work is the work-around, but it's a pain to keep having to do it.

Roll the window up all the way and then do a quick tap of the down button so that the window slides down about 1-2mm. Silence. Until later when the car decides that it wants to have the window seated again. Until later after that when it decides that fully seated is noisy and it wants that mm of relaxed fit. Until...

So, only use the workaround when you hear noise and you'll spend about 5 seconds or so figuring out which level of "almost or fully seated" it wants (and accidentally open the window a few times while you're fiddling) and then you're good for an hour or so or until the wind changes...

I want to do your request justice, but I'm terrible at being able to describe differences and want to try them both a few times to be sure.

If I had to summarize it now, I'd say that the P3 is a sports car with mini-SUV storage. It feels like you're in a cockpit and it feels wired to the road, but it has an amazing ride that seems unexpected given its handling. One of my friends actually accused me of getting an "old man car" because the ride was so smooth - I didn't explain how well it drove, I just let her have her dig.

The Gravity has an excellent ride that I don't have enough experience to compare, but it feels more like you're riding something rather than being in a cockpit. Until you turn the wheel and it responds much faster than you'd expect. One issue I have with trying to make a comparison is that it keeps resetting to Smooth mode every time I get in and I forget to switch it back to Swift. When it's in Smooth mode it feels wallowy and I get disappointed only to realize I'm in the wrong mode.

Ohhh noooes! Do I has ta go drive them more to be sure? Shucks!

Is it a particular window or do you have to do this with all four?

I'm only ever the driver and so I only ever hear it from my own window. I imagine the window seals all work the same, though. It would be hard to imagine that they only screwed up one of the 4 seals on nearly every car in the (unofficial) owner's forum...?
 
I can only speak for my own Gravity, but it is still problem free. Door seals are silent. It's an exaggeration to cast one car's issue onto every other.

My Gravity door seals are silent as well. I don't think anyone on this thread made any comments about the Gravity door seals, did I miss something?

tmichael and I are talking about the Polestar 3 window seals and how to stop them from making the common "sounds like the window is cracked" noise.

Have the issues with the second-row noise been resolved in the 2027 ?Did they installed a cover when they are lowered?

My later production 2026 GGT never had the noise. Nice gap covers that work are avail in the accessories store
 
My March 2026 production GGT has no noise.
