I have often thought that the Santa Cruz presents as the most beautiful interior theme.. As I ponder getting my next Air I have considered Santa Cruz, but concerned about the maintenance with light carpets and rear seat. Curious to hear from those who have lived with it..

Santa Cruz was fine for us, beautiful, but I covered all the footwells in Tuxmats. Otherwise it shows every new footprint as dirt.
You may do OK with just Lucid's own all-weather mats if your shoes don't get muddy from time to time.

Santa Cruz wasn't my first choice but after living with it I wouldn't choose anything else. I feel like the light colors make it seem extra roomy inside.

The seats have held up really well. I hit them with some leather cleaner once every six months or so and mine still look mint after putting up with puppies, kids, and the occasional drunkard (I don't know which is messier).

I agree with DeaneG you'll probably want some all weather floor mats to replace the carpets though, unless you clean them very frequently. Someone spilled a milky tea on my passenger mat a few weeks after I took delivery, it cleaned up ok but the stain is still visible.

You may want to switch out the mats for black ones, but otherwise I love the contrasting colors and the particular hue of the wood trim. I feel lucky to have it on my 25 Pure, it looks like the Santa Cruz interior is not available on 26 Pures.

I wouldn't mind if Santa Cruz was executed in PurLuxe rather than leather, in fact I'd be happier with non-animal hides. Just my vote to have a livelier interior colorway than the standard black/grey PurLuxe. Personally, I think velour is ready for a comeback...

When I had light colored carpet on a different car, I put in nice, carpeted floor mats of a similar color. I treated them as if they were consumables - replaced them every year or so. Plus, you can choose to match the wood color or whatever - you just have to think of them as routine maintenance items.

Just a thought.

I have Santa Monica, which I believe has the same very light ceramic carpets which show dirt easily.
(mine is on the left and I think Santa Cruz is the middle, with eucalyptus wood instead of walnut)

I got 3DMax gray molded mats which are a surprisingly good color match for my dark seat, which I believe but cannot confirm, is the same as yours.

Is your seat surface gray, or is that just the camera playing tricks?

It is kinda muddy brownish gray that seems common across Lucid vehicles. Tone-wise, the image is pretty close.
