Is service overwhelmed?

This applies only to arbitration, a court would likely interpret it differently.

I had a thread about it but deleted it cuz I'm tired, boss
Yeah I won't beat a dead horse.

I guess the resounding question is if they don't think they are responsible then who is?

(the answer can't be nobody)

Lucid Group AZ, good sir.
But Lucid is saying that is their service organization. Lemon Law falls upon the manufacturer (in this case Lucid USA). By that alone, Lucid Group AZ could not be responsible.

(I guess I am beating a dead horse. Sorry.)

Lucid Group AZ did the failed repairs and is not the manufacturer

its ok, I own the dead horse lol

worst part was they fixed the roof perfectly, then their detailer burned the paint off with his buffer

How long is the average time for service these days? I have my car at the Bev Hills location for 3 weeks now for the year 2 maintenance, a coolant flush (campaign), and squeaky trunk opening.

My advisor just texted saying my car is still in queue and on hold for a technician and would be another 2-3 weeks. That would be almost 2 months since I dropped off my car 😥

Wow. I do hope you have been given a loaner during this timer period?

Not returning call is totally unacceptable and such an easy fix. It’s one thing delaying service, but not calling back?

Sure you called the right number?
"Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, we must unfortunately postpone our AMA at this time. ..."
Likely because of all the service questions posted there.

2 months? Eek.

Btw, still haven't heard back on my year 2 maintenance. May 28 and counting. Not that it matters. Car is going bye bye tomorrow.

My understanding is Beverly Hills is extremely overwhelmed at the moment with quite a large backlog of cars. The site is just too small to deal with the volume in the LA area as they've only got 2 or 3 car lifts. I hope they've got some bigger locations on the roadmap in the greater LA area sometime in the near future.

Yes....not a Lucid Loner but an Enterprise rental. Got a MB CLA.

Have to go get gas...now I remember how I hated waiting in line for Costco Gas and how expensive.

This brought a question to mind...if they give you an ICE loaner, are you reimbursed for fuel?

IC......that's too bad because it takes me 15min to get there.

I'll give Torrance location a try next time...I think that's a bigger location but it will take me 45min to get there. If it gets my car back sooner, guess its worth the drive.

No! First two times in service mine was 2 weeks last time it was a month and a half. It's only getting worse!

I seem to recall someone on this forum mentioned a future site in Rancho Santa Margarita/ Mission Viejo area? Which doesn’t make a ton of sense given Costa Mesa? I wish they would follow Rivian and Tesla and establish one in the IE. Corona/Upland/Eastvale something. I’ve seen quite a few Lucid’s out in the Coachella Valley also (my in laws live out there). Must be all mobile service or a loooong drive/tow.

I don’t understand the logic behind it but seems from BH down to San Diego it’s got a good footprint of Service Centers but for the greater LA area we’ve got one option and one option only, BH.

I’m sure there’s reasoning behind it but it’s definitely strange.

One service center with 3 lifts is bizarre for LA. Maybe they plan to on-board and saturate the area with mobile service techs. One can hope

Wait til you find you what the Denver “Service Center” is

Spoiler: it’s two people and a rented garage space

Do you know what the fix was?
Apparently wind gets in at the bottom - through holes that are meant to drain water - and travels up the door. He inserted another seal that makes better contact with the glass and 'prevents' the wind from flowing upwards. It works for now but seems like a temporary fix.
