picking up tomorrow....

100% one of the best driving cars I have ever EVER owned... Which is why I WANT THE EFFING THING BACK!
Who cares how great it is on the one day out of 90 that it works (exaggeration intended). If it was the best driving Ferrari in the world but it caused me this much aggravation, I wouldn’t want anything to do with it.

Just like my coach used to tell me - the best kind of ability is availability. You can be the greatest basketball player of all time but if you are always injured then you aren’t the solution.

Ok just got a message from Jon at Lucid Service (assistant manager) his text reads: "Looks like vehicle will be completed today. We just performed the alignment and need to go to EA. Tyler is back today and I will have him update you when complete."
All good news, Christian! Happy you are getting a resolution.

I just got off the phone with Sean, my San Jose service advisor, and mine is also ready. All similar stuff as you except no TCU. Battery and all of the service bulletins, bad camera taking down DreamDrive, updated fobs, new valet cards, bear decals (!), buying NACS adapter, changed out defrost heater, bought CCV2, filled coolant system with upgraded fluid, updated all software. Good to go!

But, to add on a perk, they are having an employee drop it off and save me 54 miles of rush hour traffic since he lives near me. He will take back the Enterprise loaner (but secretly I will save his number for more inside contacts).

I told Sean that mentally we are racing to get my car back sooner since it went in at nearly the same time as yours in Phoenix. Will come down to a matter of hours. I am jazzed! 🤙

So you would rather take an injured baseball player now, than wait till his/her injuries are fixed?

Not sure why some people here just pile on Lucid when something gets delayed or if there are minor issues. You can see that they are trying their best not to release problematic cars to their customers. Give them credit when due please!

So I got my car. Thank you to the Scottsdale Service team for getting it to me clean and detailed. They were very nice when I picked up. Only complaint was when they "tested" hooking up to a EA DC fast charge IT CHARGED MY ACCOUNT. Its 40.00 so I am not going to get to upset about it.

They also removed some labor from my bill which reduced the overall bill for me a little. Pretty cool.

OK so the car:
The car is having issues charging at home. Says to "disconnect and reconnect" which does nothing. After doing it like 10-15 times last night it finally did the handshake and started to charge. I cannot start charging from the app AT ALL.

The cameras are wonky when they turn on (If they turn on currently have an error to turn off my car and restart it)

The car is on 2.9.0 HOWEVER my app still says 0.0.1 and it is "up to date"

The sound system correction (tape over holes) from SSP is not quite what I was hoping for. I mean it is way better than it was... but far from "Premium sound" from what I am used to... So I wonder if the SSP software was loaded properly. No idea because it does not show anything on the display that it is in ATMOS or anything like that. I thought I read there was writing in blue when it went into that mode.... I tested with Tidal... nadda....

Lastly... album art... i know this is super dumb... but I just get the square with the notes in the middle.... not the actual album art... So I am wondering if there is an issue with the CCC v2 ??

I am hoping these will all be resolved with subsequent UX updates. we will see! =) Also I hope that I get updated to 2.9.2 or .3 soon. Perhaps that will correct some stuff!

BUT I HAVE MY CAR BACK... IT DRIVES GREAT I MISSED LOOSE SID.... FOR SURE!

2.9.0 is the latest OTA for the Air GT. I am not sure why your app shows the incorrect software on your car. I assume you already tried killing the app and restarting it. The camera error may resolve after an overnight sleep reset. If not, I would text Tyler and get service to take a look.

In my case, the mobile app shows the correct 2.9.0 version, but in the Lucidtracker.app site with Lucidtracker+ in the live view I do get an odd message:

🔔 Software Update: Update Success With Warnings0.0.0

Which, while not directly or officially part of Lucid - it might be caused by similar issue in the back-end/api in @Macrocosmcwh's case.

I called Lucid they are going to try and re-push the OTA update and see if that fixes it. :)

Another owner reported in a different thread that killing the app and power cycling the phone fixed the app software version issue.

Update. Cameras not working for surround view. However, DDP works perfectly strangely enough so does park pilot parking assist (just no camera view).
Last night on my way home the music started to studder rapidly. Almost like it was cutting out... On every input.

When I got home I decided to check the TCU... when I say it was hot I MEAN IT WAS HOT... Like if I left my finger on there it would blister hot. Makes me a little nervous about fire to be honest.

The car would not charge on my home charger AT ALL last night. no matter what I did it would not make the handshake and start.

I updated Tyler.

@Adnillien I power cycled doing the Air and the normal restart (Get out lock walk away and come back) and the Steering wheel brake restart. Nadda....

Dang this has got to be disappointing. I wonder why some Airs are like this and others are perfect.

Have you restarted your charger? I'm not sure which one you have but I've had issues with my Lucid home charger taking forever to begin charging. I just turn off the charger at the breaker with the car unplugged and once the charger reboots it works fine. this happens from time to time.

Yes one of the first things I tried prior to my HV and Wunderbox replacement no issues charging at all.
