Anyone in VA know a good leather repair shop?

Honestly, no BS, zero idea how this happened. I do not carry things in my pocket other than my phone. I drove two days ago and this was not there when I got in. I have cameras galore on the house so it was absolutely me. I just have no clue. Drivers side seat. It was a little worn down from me sliding past it, but those two slices look damn near and the tear? WTF?

Anyway not really trying to dwell on what I did. Looking for someone to fix it. I don’t know any good shops in the area (Hampton roads) and I don’t trust random mobile fix-my-shit companies.

I found Dorns Body and Paint in mechanicsville that might be Lucid recommended? Anyone have experience? I’d email lucid but last time I just got a “go to a local place” generic canned bs message.

It’s a 2025 air GT if that matters.

Some owners on that forum report same problems regarding seat covers and most got them replaced under warranty. Do a search I'm pretty sure you’ll find other cases like yours. Good luck !

Is this Purelux? There have been many reports of Purelux tearing along the ventilation holes, which looks like the case here. I believe warranty covers this.

I recommend contacting Lucid Service. This happened to my drivers seat (‘23 Pure). There are multiple other owners in this forum that also experienced this issue. Lucid changed out my seat cover. It was covered under the warranty. Hopefully, they should do the same for you.

Stupid question but is this a “seat cover”? It’s just the seat. Never heard of the actual seat leather being called a seat cover.

I used them for body work, very pleased with their work, but not sure they do anything like this (but perhaps could make a recommendation).
