Is it ok to let gravity use wifi now?

Been away a while so sorry if this is obvious but the last I knew, service told me to use only cell for connection, as wifi would cause the car to show as not connected....at any rate, has this been resolved?

I have always used wifi with my Gravity, and haven't noticed any problems.

I tried it both on and off. Didn't seem to matter. Car connectivity was bad either way. Presumably dead zones in my area, but then there were some times it wouldn't come back for the entire rest of the drive even though I knew I was well past a dead zone.

Thank goodness Lucid finally implemented Android Auto. Now I've completely abandoned the car's built-in audio system and just use AA full time for audio (SXM, Spotify, Pandora). My cell phone connectivity is 10x better. Not sure if it's just the network (Mint on T-Mobile vs AT&T), or if the Lucid receiver is poorly implement, or mine is just bad).

As someone who previously experienced connectivity issues with leaving WiFi on (e.g. vehicle would show as offline while out and about), I haven’t experienced that recently and feel confident leaving WiFi on.

It's the car, not the network. Both Lucid and Tesla use AT&T; driving through the same places I lose signal in the Gravity while the Model X didn't.

it was a thing, then to get connectivity back you had to do a song and dance with cell phone hot spot...service suggested leaving wifi off. That was back in December though

yeah, had issues as well in the past, usually had to switch from Wi-Fi to mobile in the car to insure a connection when at the house (i.e. software updates were unreliable). but since v3.4.1 seems OK.
