I was curious if anyone has heard how the sales rate of the gt vs the t. They came out at different times, so even if total sales were known of each it wouldn’t be a fair sales rate. I was looking at the 2027 models in the available now section of inventory and they are all 2 weeks out for the ones listed, which at this stage is they are probably still at the production lot. But the odd thing is that there are 72 gravity touring listed and 2 gravity grand touring listed. It could be a listing artifact, but historically they push inventory to maximize marketing opportunity. So, it made me wonder if there is a sales difference and I could see the less expensive touring uptake being more dramatic and selecting production to favor it or the gt receiving more pre-orders and thus the skew hitting inventory because the touring doesn’t pre-sell nearly as well.

Just stumbled across this anomaly and was looking for answers…
 
I don’t know the actual answer, but I’d guess the Touring will cover the vast majority of the sales, given how expensive the GT is. This company is flirting with bankruptcy and they need to move inventory. Price speaks volumes, literally.

Then they should offer better deals ;)
 
Based off incentives and inventory, I'm deducing the GT is likely selling better. At this price point, people will likely swing for more options and take the range (or max performance).

The Touring is great compared to the competition, but Lucid might have lobbed off too much range compared to the GT.

Another reason I'm deducing this is how much coverage the GT still gets and is talked about in the forums. You really don't see much about the Touring. It is either a quite group or not a huge chunk of their sales.

All complete guesswork though. Not basing it off any figures that I'm aware of.
 
I guess only the Grand TOuring is really appealing.. TOuring does not have enough milage, the GT does not get the WLTP or EPA milage and it will be worse for the Touring.
 
Problem is once u start optioning the touring it approaches $100k anyway..
 
Those likely to buy Touring will be less likely to go big on options.
 
All the Gravities I saw across the SF Bay Area were GTs and I've seen quite a lot.
There are 4 of them, including mine, in my community, and I saw about 5 more around my office
 
Is there any way to easily differentiate between the Grant Touring and the Touring other than the text below the "Gravity" insignia on the rear of the car?

They are specifically made to be the same…only way to tell a Dream from the outside is the bear, if it wasn’t removed plus the back plate which is pretty small.

Has anyone else that hasn't yet bought a Gravity noticed that the Gravity Touring models don't seem to be selling, but Grand Tourings still are? I've been watching the inventory of near-fully loaded GT/GGTs in my market area (New England +- 500 mi), and I've noticed that the same Touring models have been "Available in 1 week" for close to 8 weeks now, whereas any Grand Touring with a decent color combo tend to disappear within a week or two.

If you want a Gravity Touring, nearly any color combination and options package seems to be available. Much less so for GGTs.

I realize this is anecdotal, but just curious if anyone else has noticed, or knows anything more. I'm considering a Touring partly due to economics, but also availability.

I've noticed this too. The AGTs with DDPro really seem to move quickly

That's true. However, in my case, I have a trade-in worth around $60-65k, so after incentives and taxes and trade-in a Gravity Touring is ~$30-35k, and a GGT is roughly $16k more, so $46-51k. So for those of us in such a situation, it's actually not terribly unlike your example of 30k->40k.

In any case, I'm happy that Tourings are available in abundance. I do wonder if they will start to discount them more heavily, or perhaps just not produce many 2027 Tourings.
 
If that’s in fact happening (not just anecdotes), this is a huge problem for them. If they can’t move their cheaper inventory, they are screwed.
