Has anyone charged a Lucid at EVGo? I still have credits at EVGo from when I had an Equinox EV. GM sponsored credits periodically to incentivize GM EV drivers to use EVGo. I tried to add the LAGT to my EVGo profile, but when I scanned the VIN it said it could not add the vehicle because the company (Lucid) is not one of the companies aligned with their Autocharge + program. I'm sure I can use a credit card pay but that would not pull from my credit balance.

I charged my Air at an EVGo some years ago, but used a credit card as Air and Gravity don't work with Autocharge+.
Autocharge+ uses a non-secure protocol. Maybe that's why Lucid doesn't support it.
There is a secure protocol available which Lucid does use, but EVgo doesn't suppport it.

Could you just plug in and then use the EVGo app to start the charge without a credit card? I wonder if EVGo will let you use those GM credits to charge a non-GM vehicle.

That's what I was trying to figure out. Got a trip coming up soon and figured I'd try to use the credits. But when I went to add the car to Autocharge + I got the "your brand doesn't support" message. I have some friends who have GM EVs. Next time I'm out with them I'll use the credits on their cars.

It looks like you can use the EVGo app to start a charge on an Air. Maybe that would use the credits, who knows.

This worked with Gravity so I assume it will work with Air also. I have not tried it with my Air though.

I've charged my Air at EVGo, they've been quite reliable for me aside from their sparsity. Unless those credits are somehow bound by t's & c's I see no reason you couldn't use them to charge any vehicle. You should be able to use their application, or I believe you can even request an RFID card from them which is linked to your account that you scan at the charging station.

I reliable have charged at EVGo with my Air. Much more reliable in fact than EA. And they typically support both sides of the stall operating at the same time.

I have used EVGo more than other brands pre-Lucid and now that I've used EA with Lucid I have to agree. The EVGo experience has been quite a bit better. Having them deployed at Pilot / Flying J travel plazas was a smooth move on GM's part and makes them readily available while driving major freeways. The times I've used EA they have delivered nowhere near the rated 350kW. Usually his double digits to low 100+. Never had that issue with EVGo. But also, the times I've used EA it has been bitter cold so they may have throttled them down to save the equipment. My best experience was with an iONNA station. Can't wait until they are more available.

Lithium batteries can't be charged or discharged quickly when cold. It may have been your car limiting charging power to a safe level for the battery.

I'm aware. In these cases I preconditioned and the message on the car's instrument panel was something like "power delivery is limited by the charging equipment". I looked at the charging rates of all the other cars that were charging and spoke with some of the other drivers at one location and they were all getting the same thing.
