I have almost 12k miles on my Gravity with no issues except for no Dream Drive Pro (auto speed and lane). Adaptive cruise works perfect.
I need to get my steering wheel replaced as 'auto speed and lane' stopped working after 3.3.5. There are some other campaigns I need to take care of as well. Since I need to see my uncle in Walnut Creek, CA area, I will be in Bay Area for a week having my SUV serviced. I am dropping off on May 14th. I have 11k miles on it and will have 12k when they service it. I will let everyone know what they did.

You should check with the Lucid Service Center as to when EXCATLY they are going to work on your car. Some SCs are overwhelmed.

As I discovered recently in the Scottsdale Service Center, booking an appointment on a certain date is fine. Yes, the SC will check you in on the appointed time. BUT....they might not work on your car for 2-3 weeks after you checked in. A service appointment and check-in merely mean "you are now in a queue to be serviced".

For my appointment (made 4 months in advance), the Scottsdale SC told me after I checked in, they won't get to it for 2 weeks. On the 13th day after I checked in, I went to the SC and was then told it might take ANOTHER 2 weeks to get to it. After I made a fuss about it, the SC manager relented and did my car the next day (a very simply Schedule-A annual maintenance, probably took 2 hours).

You should ask the explicit questions:
> I have an appointment on XXX. Upon checking in, WHEN will you actually work on my vehicle? WHEN can I expect to get my vehicle back?

Understood. I have a prescheduled time and date to drop off. They will provide a loaner while they have my car. They also checked some of the other service centers and were booked out several weeks - like SoCal and east and west Bay Area California.

Yeah, this is exactly what the service manager did and we agreed upon a date and time to drop off and pick up when finished.

Why are the service centers so busy? Are they doing other cars as well or only Lucid?
In Germany we do not have many service centers, but Germany is quite small compared to the US.

is a mobile service hub sufficient or does it have to be a service center?
Service Center is 1,5h hours away, mobile service hub 30 minutes two of them.

What the other person is saying is that you may have a designated time for drop off for service, but your car may sit in service for days or weeks before they get to it. This has happened to a few people on here and he's just asking you can verify with the SC if they plan to actually work on your car soon after drop off or it will be a while. So you can at least set your expectations and don't feel angry and you'll be back here wondering what is going on. At least you can be forewarned to stand by for a while for your car to be completed.

Been driving the loaner Air for two days now. The efficiency is insane. The handling is amazing! However, the entry and exit is difficult for a 6 foot tall person. The space in the trunk excellent. They test drove the car today. I assume the new steering wheel is installed. There were 7 total campaigns they are addressing. I am scheduled to get a call tomorrow for status and when to pick up.

This depends on the type of service being performed.

I made an appointment for June because the center console no longer recognizes the key card.

Today I received a letter about the recall. Can I get the recall added to the same appointment?
Or will they push back the appointment if I add anything to it?

Appointment is at the San Jose service center.

Thanks

San Jose Service Center (Sean) compiled a list of what I wanted when I arrived, so I think the answer is yes.

When you bring your car in for service, they usually address recalls on it at the same time.

Push for a loaner, and keep delaying your service until they allocate a loaner to you. I pushed my service back two months until they finally gave me a loaner.

Yes. If it's a safety recall, usually they HAVE to address it before giving you the car back.

Everything was promised and delivered. I had these campaigns addressed:
  • Front Seat Back Coverings - Inspected coverings and both are correct
  • Steering Wheel Replacement - replaced as correct code was not being sent to engage DreamDrive
  • D-Pillar Applique - these were inspected and deemed good
  • Third Row Cable Ties - inspected and deemed properly tensioned
  • KeyFob Buttons - original fob was replaced and 2nd given
  • 2nd Row Seat (60) Anchor Bracket - inspected (weld was greater than 20mm but less than 55mm. New fasteners and sealant was applied
  • Hood Power Struts - replaced
Good to go!
