Buying 2023 Air Grand Touring tomorrow - what to look for?

Hello all, first time poster. I’m aware of many of the pros and cons of the Lucid Air but I’m probably going to pull the trigger tomorrow and buy a 2023 Air Grand Touring. As experienced Lucid owners, what would you advise me to inspect closely. I’m aware of the potential frunk issues, the key fob issues, the door lock issues as you approach the car, the CarPlay issues, and a few other things. I think I’ve read enough to know in general what I should be looking for but what would you look for if you were in my shoes? Also interested in extended warranty options but I’ll research that soon. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Software is mostly sorted, if ordinary. Fob was a gravity issue, it’s fine on Air.

Frunk open and close that thing ten times make sure it does it okay.

Otherwise….not much. They’re aren’t really prone to anything catastrophic.

I bought one in September and love it. It's full featured, and drives very well. Actually the software was quite good until these recent updates which to my mind have created problems I didn't have before. It's not serious type problems on my car, but things like the audio selection changes when I get back in the car, Drive assist wants to drive off route when it sees an exit lane, audio quality of late gets really garbled.. I hear it on Tidal, even on my own USB music. All fixable. Comng from a Tesla Model S, I like the Lucid better, but do miss FSD. Still a great car.

You aren't giving us much to go on. Buying from Lucid? If so, Certified Pre Owned? Mileage? Remaining months on warranty? CarFax history? Title status?

I would feel good about the car being properly prepped for sale if buying from Lucid, whether CPO or not. Anyone else... Caveat Emptor.

I'm in a similar boat to @Doug11 . Purchased a white AGT and waiting for it to be transported. So I won't actually have the opportunity to inspect in person. I did do a FaceTime with the selling dealership. Spotted some curb rash that they are repairing for me before shipping.

Quick question...does anyone know how to get a copy of the original Monroney label?

Fun fact...This is sort of a retirement present to myself. I just retired from S&P Global Mobility. Our offices are on the 11th floor of a building in Southfield, Michigan. Lucid's regional offices are on the 9th floor. The garage has been an interesting place to be the last few years.

While you're inside, check the seats for wear and tear, and test all the adjustments – heating, cooling, massage, everything. Crank up the sound system and listen for any weird noises. And of course, make sure the air conditioning and heater work well. Check how the panels line up – they should be pretty even all around. And when you open and close the frunk (the front trunk), pay attention to how it feels. Does it close smoothly? Are the gaps even? That's a spot that can sometimes have issues.

Just got my '23 agt a week ago. Check the frunk to see if it works correctly. I was surprised to see grime in the extended seat (thigh adjustment). Had a buddy detail it with graphene coating and it looks brand new now (14k miles). Don't expect much to happen with anything you find. I was told that the frunk adjustment wouldn't be covered by the basic warranty. My buddy found the issue and adjusted it. Works fine now.

I just had my '23 AGT returned to me today. Lucid Service picked it up on April 20th, repaired the frunk hinges and motors under warranty, and then took care of a couple cosmetic things that I asked for, customer pay.
