So where is bottom? I hate this drain. Should I buy more now or hold?? What is everyone doing right now? Do we think the earnings call will give us a boost?
Oh god no. This is a penny stock that did a reverse split to try and stay on the market. It’s mostly owned by the Saudis through various investment vehicles. They are going to gut retail shareholders (further) and take it private or just sell the guts off.Do we think the earnings call will give us a boost?
It’s too cheap here. Buy hold forget is my policy. I’m averaging down. Market cap is 1/10 Rivian , new CEO, Gravity production back up to speed, capital through end of 2027.So where is bottom? Yep, investing advice from YouTubers is a great way to invest!Oh god no. This is a penny stock that did a reverse split to try and stay on the market. Cash burn will drop significantly in 2027/2028.
Don’t care what haters here say. They either shorted or pissed off at Lucid because they had problems with the car.
2.5 billion market cap is a joke. Yeah, cash burn, but that’s how you make money, if you have a good product and Lucid vehicles are the best.

I get what you are saying - but, remember, it is just an opinion. One which I share, but that doesn't make either one of us correct. Even if cash burn slows, it doesn't mean the cars will sell. I would question whether forum members are shorting the stock. We HAVE had problems with our cars and if they continue, it doesn't matter whether you and I have dollar-cost-averaged down. Is that really saying anything when the percentage is of such small volume, specially considering that the Gravity was basically non-existent for Q1 of last year?I don't want to sound too provincial because I live here, but CA is often a bellwether. I would take heart in this:
Search for "lucids-california-sales-rise-37-in-q1-as-gravity-lifts-pre-launch-baseline" for article; not able to post direct link.
Exactly. Based on volume, Lucid is the size of MINI. Plus, this is California. It doesn't even count the one that was sold in Utah!s that really saying anything when the percentage is of such small volume, specially considering that the Gravity was basically non-existent for Q1 of last year?
Good points, those who don’t want to take risks should be buying index funds. Individual stocks are always risky.I get what you are saying - but, remember, it is just an opinion. The stock price doesn't have anything to do with your or my opinions. I have the same opinion as you do, but I will be the first to tell you that my opinion is not always right - whether investing or gambling or telling my grandkids what to do.
So, admit we might be wrong - only time will tell. And, to be a greedy capitalist, each person here driving the stock price down is letting you and I buy cheaper shares. We're better off that way, in my opinion.
Apple is from California. Nothing to do with that.I wonder how much the ties to California hurt the brand image.... I mean... California is not the most popular state right now. haha I wonder if that is keeping the broad appeal from being accepted.
I came from Rivian, RJ is a very liberal owner but the brand doesnt EXUDE it. While Tesla (once liberal but now very conservative) had some sales volume movement plus and minus attached to that. I wonder what would happen to the stock if it didnt tie itself so strongly to California. Perhaps time to REMOVE THE BEAR from the brand?
Well, so is Lucid, Rivian, and all of Tesla's engineering (except Cybertruck). But that aside, Gravity seems to be a sales hit which has to be good for all of us.Apple is from California. Nothing to do with that.
I am seeing a lot more Lucids around the Bay Area. I used to get excited when I saw an Air earlier but now I see 3-4 Airs and Gravities regularly just within a couple of miles of my house. I think Lucid will soon overtake Rivian in California given they had 1300 vs Rivian's 1800 registrations. With Model X done Gravity is going to get a lot more interest.I don't want to sound too provincial because I live here, but CA is often a bellwether. I would take heart in this:

I think i own 50% of all Lucids in Idaho lolExactly. Based on volume, Lucid is the size of MINI. Plus, this is California. It doesn't even count the one that was sold in Utah!
All good news is good news, however. Dream Ahead!
I think Lucid has potential to succeed. I wouldn't be looking at buying a Gravity if that wasn't the case. But I'll inject a note of caution. The stock price is low because realistically there is the need for strong execution for Lucid to really see great business success, and I think we all know that Lucid's execution has been a bit of a mixed bag. The stock price will probably be quite low until Lucid does something that clearly demonstrates better execution. The really concrete way to demonstrate it is have a successful Cosmos launch. That proof point is still a fair ways out. If you want a leading indicator, watching their ability to turn Gravity's software into something no one is talking about anymore. Gravity and Cosmos doubtless share a whole lot of code, and if they can't fully address Gravity's problems this year, that's a really bad sign for Cosmos. Another leading indicator would be watching to see if they fix their service center capacity problems, through some combination of scheduling service more efficiently, improving parts logistics, and scaling up locations and service staff. It’s too cheap here. I'm a bit concerned about their software too. Its not fixed. I read somewhere that they fired the whole team who did the Gravity software and I'm not sure that was the best idea. Getting someone to come in and fix huge legacy problems is not easy, and someone who has the skills they need is going to be highly sought after by bigger companies.I think Lucid has potential to succeed. That seems extremely unlikely to me....I read somewhere that they fired the whole team who did the Gravity software...
