Lucid new CEO: Silvio Napoli

Napoli's background seems to show a strong preference for accountability and financial control and comes from a very service-oriented industry. Exciting opportunity for him (and, potentially, shareholders)!

Does anyone have a good round up of the recapitalization news? Uber investment and purchase order, PIF buys convertibles, and a public sale of new shares? Are these separate cash raises or is there overlap?

Another dilution ?

Geez I wish companies would issue clear and concise press releases instead of these word salads.

That said, I hope this guy is a good hire for the company.
There was also a typo in the LinkedIn post from Lucid. Oof

Yes. And thankfully. Obviously the company needs more money for run way and to build out everything we all complain about. They need cash to build service centers and get better suppliers and hire software engineers. Any dilution concerns are outweighed by concerns of viability and execution. Money fixes a lot of issues.

Honestly I wish the ripped the bandaid off and raised a lot more.

Apparently the offering was effectively at 8.1 bucks a share....
Only 1% of current number of shares...drop in the bucket.

More interesting is the new CEO- looks like he has expertise in international expansion. Exactly what Lucid needs right now. We don't need a tech or a hype CEO!

Knowing where he comes from, I think he's looking to elevate Lucid, take it to the next level 🙂

Great ready for more ATL’s. We are diluted again to 8.01

Good luck Mr. Napoli... Lucid has great cars, certainly stuff to improve on and significant opportunity in the EV space

Only 1% dilution….no biggie. Now that all dilution is done, they just need to execute. I’m cautiously optimistic from here onwards.

I’ve come across more colleagues looking at buying a Lucid.

1% of Lucid is 30million, but they diluted 300million worth of stock right? How is it 1%?
