Gravity Rear Window Damaged

In a moment of "what was I thinking", I damaged the rear window of my Gravity.

Car was parked in lower part of driveway, in gravel.
I was edging front lawn at driveway, with weed eater.
You probably know where this is going.

Rogue piece of gravel hit rear window.
Didn't notice it until the next morning when washing car and noticed interesting design within window, previously not noticed.

Called Lucid service center near me; waiting on appointment date.
Since I'm using Lucid and not one of GEICO's third-party providers, I'll be reimbursed the cost, minus a $500 deductible.

Stay tuned for the cost.
If anyone has "been there, done that", let me know the cost I can expect.

OUch! I recently bonked my Air on the edge of my glass, and it did this too. I didn't know we could get insurance through Lucid!! I will check into that when purchasing my Gravity. Good luck!

Just to be clear, I don't have insurance through Lucid. I have GEICO. I'm just not using one of the third-party window repair providers suggested by GEICO.

The estimate from the Lucid service center is $1500.
My insurance will reimburse me, minus a $500 deductible.
Window due to arrive by Wednesday.
Work is scheduled for Thursday and Friday.
Hoping to pick up end of day Friday.

Never used it, so I guess I'll never know the difference.
If it acts up whenever I use it, you'll be the first to know.

Rear window repair on my Gravity is complete, as of Friday.
However, the Lucid service center is keeping my Gravity over the weekend to allow an adhesive to fully cure.

OMG am I missing my Gravity!
Noon tomorrow cannot get here soon enough!

@marqie the Mechanicsville, VA service staff are doing a great job! Please pass this into to the appropriate management within Lucid.
