GGT, 4/10 based on my ownership experience.
Great vehicle on paper but with some execution issues. You love the car when it works as expected and you hate it (and Lucid) when it doesn't.
Promising brand and vehicles but clearly not ready to go after the mass market. Still very niche in my opinion.

Late 2022 Air GT
After first few yrs of software updates it is a 9.
Great and powerful ride, range is no issue ,easy charging.
Entertainment system still has a few quirks from time to time
I live 10 min from Lucid service if needed

I give it a 9 ( comparing to my last Mercedes)

I love my '23 Air Grand Touring. The really difficult things to get right such as ride, handling, motors, efficiency and design, they got so right! Easily a 9 for me. But the software gremlins, that admittedly have decreased over time and updates, were a real confidence suck.

As the car sits today, my doors generally unlock as expected (but I do have to wake my phone every time), the highway hands free driving works reassuringly well when available, and the sound system was improved significantly once they hired the Apple AirPods Pro guy. Overall, I'm an early adopter so some of this was expected for me so I still would give it an 8.5 and hopefully rising as new updates continue.

I’m a car guy, like some others here.

There is nothing else in my life that interests me more. Owned a few well regarded sports cars in the past.

9/.510- only reason is the very occasional lag in trunk opening, maybe 5 seconds. This has greatly improved with recent software updates. Service has been exemplary! They even replaced my whole rear seat due to a loosening of the leather on one side- it was still only noticeable in certain angles. Which manufacturer does this?

Coming up to 4 years, I still look forward to driving my Air Touring. I usually don’t keep cars out of warranty, this, I’m keeping at least another 4 years. That’s how good this vehicle is!

Excellent breakdown!

Overall I will give it a 9/10.

The handling, performance, efficiency and space is the best in class no doubt.

What I want to say about User Interface (UI) is that after spending sometime test drive Air, my friend wants me to try his model Y (not comparible to Air but I guess UI is the same as model S) I much preferred the inuitiveness of Air as Tesla screen is cluttered and distracting, many saying how good the UI is on model Y/3 is ended up buying an aftermarket dash.

Also small thing such as wiper spray, my MBZ would do a dry swipe before the water reaches the blade, Air pumps water to wet the blade before wiping to prevent dry wipe.

1 point taken off for tiny design imperfection, eg. I can see metal through tiny gap between door trim and B pillar where my other luxurious car is fully covered.

Another topic is ADAS. In UAE no car is approved for hands free (yes even Tesla), having said that I use DDPro exclusively during my work commute highway cruise. DDPro keeps lane and distance extremely well. I don't really care too much for auto lane changing as I prefer ADAS doing simple task at good reliability instead of guess why is the car doing this and that.

I have owned 4 Teslas over the years (Roadster, then S, then X, then S) and had a S Plaid on order but after months of waiting, I went with Lucid. I have owned my AT for a couple years, I am happy with it and give it a 8. The worst part is the software bugs that have slowly been resolved and virtually zero communications from Lucid. They don't even tell you when they fix bugs in the update lists.

I would buy a Gravity tomorrow but after looking at the bug list on this forum, I am not ready to beta test their SUV so I will give it another year or two until they get it working properly.

Your last statement, "I would buy a Gravity tomorrow but after looking at the bug list on this forum, I am not ready to beta test their SUV so I will give it another year or two until they get it working properly." is almost verbatim what Scott of OoS said in their 5,000 mile Gravity review video.

This, unfortunately, is the same experience with the Air vis-a-vis, "not quite ready for prime time"! The Air took 4 years to get to where it is at today. In that period, its value is down by 70+%! THAT, "not-ready-for-prime-time", is Lucid's biggest obstacle to command a premium in a very competitive market, especially with the mid-size offerings!

2022 AGT 53,000 miles. Service 10, Driving characteristics 10, Comfort 9, Software...it has been a long, slow journey. But it has improved so much. As of this date, it is an 7. Promises made by Lucid 3. I am so frustrated that we still do not have Vehicle to Home capabilities. It has been promised for 4 years now and it is still just over the horizon. Come on now. Let's have some honesty.

9/10 for my 2023 AT. See my three-year review here for much longer explanation.

You dont judge a vehicle by depreciation. I get the impression just disgruntled you did not get a good deal and vehicles depreciated? I don't consider your opinion a true reflection of how good the Air is right now.

I owned my Air since Oct 2022. I have ~20,000 miles on it. About 60+% of the mileage were highway miles between Marin County/LA/Phoenix. I have good records of the efficiencies and performance.

Within 60 days of my initial ownership, the entire battery and Wunderbox have to be replaced because the car won't charge at home, but it will charge on DC chargers. I was locked out of my car in a rural area and had to call Lucid to unlock the car so I can get home. But I chocked it all up to the initial learning.

I have extensive data on the performance of the car on highway trips, and my "lifetime" efficiency data says ~3.6mi/kWh, about 25% below the EPA 5-cycle rating. Aside from the battery pack and Wunderbox replacement, the car's reliability is OK. In contrast to my other three cars, Lexus RX450H (6 years), Honda Clarity (7 years), and Rivian R1S (2.5 years), NONE of these other 3 cars had any problems (HW or SW) other than regular service maintenance. Lucid Service is OK. I live about 4 miles from the service center in Scottsdale. Instead of trying to schedule appointments online or by phone and getting no answer, I often just drive down to the SC and talked directly to the service advisors. And they were all great!

My rating was based not just on how the car drove after 3+ years of ownership. I gave the drive dynamics a high score. But that's not the only reason to buy a certain car. Compared to my other cars, my Lucid AGT would rate as "not-ready-for-prime-time" when delivered. Yes, the SW has gotten better with time. I wasn't even able to open my garage door from the car in the early days. But I still experience annoying glitches like the car asking for my PIN, the lock handles don't present when I approach, my seat position disappears frequently and have to be reset, my pilot panel freezes regularly, and the list goes on and on.

You might not agree with my rating. that's perfectly fine. But my evaluation is not just about power and drive dynamics. It is about the totality of the ownership experience and Lucid's challenges in getting to profitability. Failing that, it will be another Jaguar or Austin Healy!

I don't own a Gravity. My early experience with the AGT informed me not to wait for the Gravity. I exercised my option with by Rivian R1S in Oct 2023. I am perfectly happy with my R1S, even though it is not as fancy as the Gravity and less efficient. In many ways, Gravity is going through a lot of the same growing pains as the Air. It calls into question about Lucid's ability to develop and a launch a reliable product at high volume and be profitable. Failing that, (sadly) Lucid has no future.

I'm going for 8/10 they lose 2 points for the software bugs. It really is a fantastic drive, the fit a finish on mine is perfect. I had a few post delivery issues (squeaky 2nd row, & a couple of parts needing adjustment / replacement) I've had minor issues on most of the new cars I have owned post delivery, but the service the Beverly Hills SC provided met every expectation I had and more.

This thread is a wonderful example of negativity bias.

In case anyone is wondering, thus far:

Mean: 7.76
Median: 8.125
Mode: 9
My outlier rating is a few std deviations away from those numbers 😂

Rotate the knurled knob up and cruise control will resume.
The only knurled knob in the Gravity is the sound system volume.
I tried swiping, pressing all directions, and anything else I could think of on the left touchpad, but there was no resume function.
