New Gravity & made it half way home...

I picked up a new Lucid Gravity with 6 miles on it at their Service Center in Roswell, GA last Tuesday. I made it to Gordonsville, TN, before I ran out of juice & no luck charging it. I tried 7 different chargers, being both AC & DC with no luck. The first was Electrify America & talked to Lucid customer service & Electrify America as well, then went & tried a Rivin charger, no bueano. Then shot over to a free Tesla wall charger at a Winery. Did several soft resets & even let the car go to sleep & tried again. Initially it would say communicating with the car & then would fail & tell me to unplug & replug the cable, with no luck. Lucid had me get towards home as far as I could & park it in a hotels parking lot. Had to take a rideshare to BNA & then a rental car the last 2 hours home. The car is now sitting back at the dealership in Roswell, GA waiting on them to get it in for service with 8% battery & 298 miles on it. Reminds , me of the movie Plans, Trains & automobiles to get home. To say I'm beyond pissed is an understatement & nothing I've ever experienced with my 22 Telsa Model X Plaid.

That sucks for your first experience. I hope it resolves favorably. I'm grateful to be near a service location. I picked mine up last Tuesday.

Damn...I don't blame you in the slightest for being absolutely disgusted. I would be absolutely done with the car and company after that and that sucks bc except for a few issues here and there, this car has been amazing. I'm sorry that is the first experience you got and should never happen to any new vehicle.
On the other side, the team at Roswell, tho short handed, has been really excellent. They should be able to work to get your car straightened out as soon as they can. It's possible tho they may have to order parts or something tho. I would insist they tow the car to your home when repairs are done and demo in a video or something that your charging works.
Scratching my head on how they let a vehicle out the door with an issue like that...

Yeah sounds like a Lucid delivery. Mine was similar. Tried to deliver broken car.

Did my first charge on a road trip from Atlanta to St George Island, FL. Feel blessed I had no problems. Hope they get it going soon, they should give you some sort of good will bonus because of all this.

Would the Lucid portable charger charge it?
