They don't go into too much detail on the whys but I've got to guess service and quality are two things that have led to the decline

Edit... not sure why it won't show the link. Tried 3 times to redo it. Maybe this one below?

Seems like the second link (goggle share) works... Maybe a mod can explain what was wrong with the direct link ?

If the software and locking situation stays same we dont even may get rated next time 🤣

I just had a problem pop up with my car. The trunk will not open. Service tried to remotely open it but it fails. Issue is the earliest appointment is March 19. I can see why satisfaction is going down. Apparently they are either overloaded or understaffed or both.

Did you try a reset? Or gently pushing down on the trunk like you are manually closing it? Sorry to hear about your issue and yes, long waits for service are more common now. They definitely need to expand their service network, especially with the new Gravities and the upcoming midsize model.

These cars are not good cars.

lol - outside of quality and service, what else is there?

Yeah, I meant more quality control. I think the technology and features (hardware) are unrivaled. My car works terrific 99% of the time. But it's getting difficult to remediate that 1% and people then forget about the 99%...

The latch on the rear hatch of our Gravity is failing, and we can no longer use the rear cargo area. Our mobile tech ordered a replacement part over two weeks ago and found it is not available . . . with no expected date for availability given. And our other Gravity has been at a service center for over two weeks with no expected date of return. (They tried to return it twice with none of the issues addressed, saying they could not duplicate them.) We sold our Honda Odyssey when the second Gravity arrived and now, for the first time in a couple of decades, we have no vehicle on hand with the cargo capacity we occasionally need.

After four years of loving our Lucid Air, we were very excited to become an all-Lucid household (the Air and two Gravities). It has turned out to be a mistake.

Lucid is a huge disappointment.

Having said that, they did rent me a 2025 Hyundai Palisade and its a great car! Lots of room, highly recommend.

I have a Palisade, great SUV for the middle class. Its not luxury. Your head bobs all over the place, suspension tuning is horrible. Engine not powerful or smooth and make a horrible noise. Road/wind noise acceptable for a 50k vehicle, but no way acceptable for a luxury vehicle.

If you want luxury feeling, it won't give you

Minority opinion here. With the addition of our Gravity I couldn’t be happier! This car is even more fun to drive and own than my 2022-build Air GT.

Apart from the fact that I can’t get Live View to work (first attempt, I just finally got around to putting in a USB drive this evening), I have no complaints at this time.

Okay, maybe one. No one notices what I’m driving, not like they did my Air GT.

Addendum: Will Live View work if the car is plugged in to charge for the night?

In some ways, it's not a minority opinion.

As do many other owners, I find the Gravity to be superbly designed and engineered across many fronts: power delivery, handling, room, comfort, quiet, utility, features. When it's working as designed, I honestly think it could easily be the finest all-around vehicle I've ever owned or driven . . . if it's hardware and software reliability were just up to snuff.

And there's the rub.

Thanks for the suggestions. The CS associate had me try all options. None worked. The trunk goes up about 1/2 inch then closes. Manually opening it does not work; it does not stay open and closes immediately. As a whole I am very happy with my Air. It has been a great car. I need access to the trunk to put a wheel chair in. The disappointment is that for a major inconvenience like the trunk non-operational, it is really inconceivable that we need to wait a whole month to even get it looked at. And then, how long will it take to get it resolved? As they ramp up production, what can we expect in the way of wait times? Will six months be the new norm?

Totally agree! Best vehicle I have ever driven and owned... but only when working as designed, as you said. Unfortunately not the case with mine.

I didn’t expect it to, still a nice car tho. I have other cars as well.

The key fob works, the stereo is better, and it doesn’t leak cold air on the freeway, unlike my shitty Lucid.
