Hi everyone! I am excited to be ordering my (slightly) used 2025 Lucid Air GT from a Georgia Dealership, but I didn't see any pictures of the charge cable and when I asked was sent these:

This appears to be a BMW/Tesla rebranded fast charger. Do you think it's a bad idea to use this for home charging? I'd also have to buy the 240V adapter for it since it only includes the 120V one. I assume I am better off just buying - and hopefully getting the dealership to pay - for the $650 "40A Mobile Charging Cable Kit J1772" that normally comes with the car. Thanks very much!

That is definitely not Tesla.

You can try and see if that works. It has J1772 so it should work.

120V is too slow. It can hardly warm up the battery to deliver any charge in sub-zero weather. You can get by with warm regions.

It sounds like you'd better to stick to some known product rather than start spending money for the above picture.

Thanks, yah I think for the $ I just spent on the car I should go with another $650 for the Lucid charger. And really I want two of them - one for the garage and one to keep in the car for trips. It was nice when Tesla lowered the price on these a few years ago, that's when I bought a second one to leave in the car.
That is definitely not Tesla.
I searched for the Delta Electronics part number E354307 and found it in the Tesla wall charger specs.

I'd definitely ask the dealer to knock $650 off the price of the car so that you can buy the correct charging hardware. Then you could get:

1) Lucid's mobile charging adapter with the possibiity of using RangeXChange
or 2) a plug-in or hardwired wall-mounted 40-amp charging adapter from Emporia, Grizzle-E, ChargePoint, etc
best 3) a hardwired 48-amp charging adapter from Emporia, Grizzle-E, ChargePoint, etc:

That looks to have a 110 volt plug on it, so you're limited to 1.2kW charging - very slow. It may be hard to find a different plug for 220 volts that fits in order to get the higher output.

Here's someone selling a used version:

That's just the relevant cULus (UL listing) category, not a part number.
