Agree re: some of the comments about notifications, particularly passenger airbag. I am used to frequent "passenger airbag off" notifications when having a passenger who moves around in her seat. I wondered if this was a real safety issue. Has the alert been turned off, or has the issue been resolved?

I think of all the alert, “muting” this one is most dangerous. BUT, I don’t think that’s what they’re doing. Technically, if there’s no one sensed in the seat, the passenger airbag won’t go off. Which is the right behavior for a vacant seat. The question is how long should no one be sitting there before alert goes off? When folks adjust, it goes off immediately. My sense is it’s not really “off” but it’s a miscommunication between “hey, I sense someone isn’t in the seat” and the actual function of not being on.

Since it’s a safety issue, I am sure Lucid isn’t just “muting” it but making it more reflective of what’s actually going on. Or making it say “instead of waiting two seconds to send the alert, wait 60 seconds” or something like that.

FYI, I'm an overthinker ... sometimes.

One example, the notifications/alerts.
I'm fine with the removal of inaccurate notifications.
However, removing/reducing unneeded notifications/alerts "when they don't impact the driver" comes across to me as covertly saying "the underlying causes for these alerts may still exist, but the driver doesn't necessarily need to be notified/alerted all the time".

Weak wording much better than no wording at all, or just a generic "more robust"!
 
From the release notes it looks like some resolution to bugs and some nice additions... Especially like the ability to fold flat the second row from the EZ entry button! Looking forward to seeing the new camera views too. Way to go Lucid!

Absolutely. They’re definitely on top of things it’s very complex and not an easy fix for any one item and here are knock on effects.

Love the note about better camera visibility/resolution.

What is everyone going to talk about on these forums when most of the software bugs are squashed??? 🤣

I do like in Kyle’s video where Emad said PAAK is coming this year and Kyle was basically like “C’mon man! It’s February and easy to say that” 😂

Agree.
I like Kyle's candidness/openness to pushback against generic answers.
To me it shows the closeness of his relationship with Lucid.
Closeness not dominated with bias.
A high quality relationship that can withstand candid, open, and honest conversations.
Nobody getting offended.
 
Anybody considering a Gravity, but has heard the talk about the software bugs, definitely needs to watch that OoS Bits video.
Those who passed on the Gravity probably shouldn't, in order to avoid kicking themselves really hard, unless they leased an alternative.

I'm not one of those people who like to say "I told you so", but ... .
That dude Emad is legit and to hear that the main reason behind a lot of the early sw issues was internal silos/lack of integration within.
Unfortunate, but it happens ALL the time. During my work career, collaboration was always a challenge.
Too many cooks in the kitchen, as they say.
The release of the software "leadership" team really makes sense now.

I saw that thread and didn’t even bother with it. The demand of the schedule for some items that are so specific to them? Seriously! Who do they think they are.
