You can really see the height difference versus the Buzz. Granted I keep it in “low” because I think it looks way better that way. More Dodge Magnum and less Chrysler Town and Country.

OCDetailing in Fremont or Deep Reflections in SJ are the two most widely recommended. I prefer OCD, but lots of people have been happy with DR. DR is a little cheaper.

OCDetailing does excellent work, both in the approach to their work and the results. They are very careful and they have an excellent attention to detail that lives up to their name.

They have done several Lucid Gravity vehicles and the thorough experience shows well in their work. It really helps that they are familiar with this model and they handle these impressively well. Beautiful job with one piece on the roof and other challenging portions. Great work with both protective film / wrap and tint.

Here you go. I need to wrap the front gloss black too but not until after Lucid replaces the part due to lifting and LED bubbling.

If your OCD like me, the mismatch in the black vinyl wrap with eventually get the better of me. To get true piano black like the way it comes from the manufacturer, you have to use black PPF because the glue for the black ppf is also black. Even high end black vinyl films have a hit of brown to them and never truly match flat black. Had the C pillar on a prior Rivian of mined wrapped in black PPF and it matches the factory black trim better than any vinyl will.

I used 3M High Gloss Black HG12 vinyl. Here’s closer pics of the finish.

I’ll check later in the sun to see if there’s a brown hue. The old 3M gloss black “G12” was notorious for its brown hue, but the new HG12 fixes that issue.

It’s a transparent PPF with a color shifting blue/purple tint. The color shifts depending on how the light shines on it and what the original color of the car is.

On a black car, it’s really blue and purple, but on Aurora Green, its more subtly with the green.

These pictures look great, looks like films have come a long way in the last couple years.
Yeah what I was referring to is the worst of the worst, like this Rivian example. Clearly not gloss black even though it is advertised as a gloss black kit for Rivian.
