Sapphire style Spoiler?

So after the duty fee delay, I received the package today. Hopefully I will have some time to put in on tomorrow

OK so I finally put it on. I'm not sure if I will keep it on, although I do like the look. Either I didn't put it on propertly, or the spoiler doesn't 100% fit on the trunk. It looks like it should hang over and hug the end of the trunk, but then the ends wouldn't attach to the trunk, so it sort of sits on the edge of the trunk.

The spoiler only has the 3M tape on the front of the spoiler (edge towards the back window). The back of the spoiler sort of just "sits" on the car. It does appear stable, but I don't know. Still thinking about it, but again I do like the look

Hmmm. It does look odd. It feels like it needs to be and inch or maybe a little more back and sit basically on top of the existing lip.
Do you have 3m VHB tape to try again?

I feel like that’s for a different car but it just kinda fits the Air. Kinda.

But before applying I had it back more to kind of sit on the back of the trunk, but the ends wouldn't be long enough to let it sit there. Kind of hard to explain but near the 2 ends,left and right, there's not enough 'hump' in the spoiler to go around the hump in the trunk when it curves

so like in this pic, the spoiler doesn't go to the edge (red arrow). if I put the spoiler to that edge, then the other end won't reach to that side edge, so that's why it looks like it does in the pic. Centering the spoiler doesn't seem to let it drop down and hug the back of the trunk,but instead kind of sit on it

But unless you walk up on it and examine it, it looks fine. Will try to take pictures from the other way tomorrow. Any try to upload landscape instead of portrait, sorry

Hello Denali_Dane, Hope everything works out as planned with the "Spoiler" you ordered from CSR Automotive. I noticed a customs & duty fee of $40.00 from DHL which seems very reasonable. I too live in California (Fresno) and may order one as well. The price seems a little on the low side so I thought I'd wait to hear your thoughts on how everything worked out. Looking forward to maybe seeing some pics afters your install. Good Luck !!!

Still have not heard back. I still see a charge on my bank statement. But its been crickets from the company unfortunately.

Are you actually doing it? I asked them for more pics but they said that's all they had. I was actually looking for a more aggressive spoiler like the Sapphire has. This one appears to look the same as the one I had on my Tesla Model Y performance. Not horrible, but just a spoiler. I may still just get it anyway. Just no too many options out here

I ordered it but these guys are not used to shipping outside the US, and they put my information in wrong, so I am having issues with paying the duties for it since they have my email wrong. i may just refund through amex if they dont actually do something about it.

yes, I paid about $80 something dollars for shipping, than another $40 for the tariff. Paying was easy, but it was on a Friday, caused them to not deliver until Monday

ok good, looks like min. I guess it put it on right. looks like it 'sits' on the back trunk, instead of dropping down and hugging the top end of the trunk, that it looked like it would do.
but this way gives a more aggressive upward look. I'm liking the look of mine

I added a thin 3M automotive double-sided tape on mine

Nice find. That B-P-W GT3 carbon fiber rear spoiler is one of the aftermarket aero options made specifically for the Lucid Motors Air Dream GT, and parts like that are usually focused more on styling than major performance gains.
