Cars
Rivian R1S, Lucid Gravit
Wife leased the Gravity GT 3 days ago. The car we saw in the showroom and test drove had blind spot cameras and 360 cameras. I thought this was standard on all models so I overlooked the fact we purchased the regular Dream Drive. No big deal. I am surprised though that the gravity has a front camera but it does not work as a parking aid. All we have is beeping and distance warning. The camera does work for incident recordings. Is this due to having the regular dream drive? Or should both the front and rear cameras show up when parking and close proximity?

Don't know for DD but with DDPremium which has the 360, the front camera sometimes requires a press of the P on the Pilot screen to see video. Curious, what does the P button do with standard DD?

I did the same thing - only got the base DD2 because I wasn't interested in hands-free driving or self-parking. Missing that it took DD2 Premium to get blind spot cameras, 3D views, and some of the other parking aids. The more I thought about it, the more I wish I had opted for Premium, especially since the charge port is in the rear and I'll be backing into DCFC stations. Didn't think about that at the time.

My SA said it could be upgraded though for the same price as the order would have been ($1500). I just contacted Customer Care and at first they said no, but then did some checking and said yes. It just has to be done at a service center. So I'm gonna go ahead and schedule that.

Hi. I forgot to follow up. My sales associate said the same. I have an appointment on Feb 17 to DD2 premium. I’ll advise how it goes
