Raging BUY at $2.26?

Its Air customization making investors believe unable to sell vehicles and inventory pilling up. And Gravity delays are adding fuel on the fire.
Gravity delays, the few they sold in Dec was a joke, PIF got pissed off, told Peter to go. I mean, it’s 6 months since and they still haven’t ramped up deliveries. It’s shameful Lucid executives can’t figure out how supply chain , marketing etc. The Air deliveries were a dud when it was first released, and now they repeat this nonsense with the Gravity. Pissing off investors so they are selling. They need to get their act together!!!!

Current volatility is all noise. Lucid's deliveries guidance has not changed since the beginning of the year. I expect the stock will fall further with Q2 earnings as seemingly lackluster deliveries of the Gravity are confirmed. Market is overreacting as the overall narrative here has not changed and this represents a good opportunity to buy in my opinion.

You guys hit the nail on the head. Stock is now at $10?! What did I miss?

I’m actually not upset, I’m buying every paycheck…..great opportunity to average down.
I'm curious: are you buying with a specific hypothesis of what the stock price will be if the coming mid-sized launch removes a lot of the uncertainty of Lucid surviving? Or is it more of a general feeling that the market is underestimating the chance of Lucid's success, and thus under-valuing the stock today? Or some entirely different investment thesis?

The new Toyota Highlander is an all electric EV. Which means a Lexus version is coming soon. RIP Lucid 😔
The Toyota starts in the mid $50k range and has some fairly mediocre specs. Can't imagine Lexus will be competitive on pricing or specs.

And Lucid, notorious for poor quality control, is hoping a mid sized SUV will bring profit. With Toyota, notorious for high quality, launching a midsized all electric SUV, it won’t go well for Lucid.

I thought this was obvious, but in case it's not: these are different products that shouldn't have much overlap in buyers. The highlander is about as big as the Gravity, has three rows and is not meant to be a luxury product. The midsize is expected to be a much smaller five-seater with a focus on entry-level luxury.

I dunno, Toyota's initial EV offering in the USA seems pretty underwhelming, and I think the industry has demonstrated that success manufacturing ICE vehicles doesn't guarantee an easy road to EV success. Speaking as a current Highlander owner, I'm still thinking Lucid has the potential to succeed in the mid market.

But they will be competitive on brand recognition, fit & finish, servicing, parts availability, sales outlets & probably resale value. That may be all they need.

Initial forays into the EV market for established car manufacturers often don't reflect their gasoline counterparts in terms of reliability, software or even style. Example given - Toyota bZ4x. Don't get me wrong, their future offerings should be better as they embrace the market wholeheartedly instead of a byproduct of their hybrid research. I guess what I'm saying is that I agree with @TahoeMichael 🙃

If it weren’t for the reverse stock split, Lucid would be a penny stock now. Not a good look. But also make you want to maybe just grab a thousand shares to have around…

I know this thread is about stock, but since someone mentioned Toyota Highlander, boy you gotta check out that sexy frunk.. not.
It shows how far Toyota is behind.
