Posting this for anyone wondering what the range is like with a lead foot and 21" wheels. So, had to make a quick turnaround trip to our vacation home to meet with a contractor. SoCal (Corona area) to Bullhead City, AZ & back. Round trip was 480 miles. As mentioned, it is a 2026 Air Grand Touring with 21" wheels and all bells & whistles. Left the house at 100% charge. Got to Needles, CA - EA Fast Charger with 30% battery. Charged to 80% in 25 minutes (while I ate at McDonalds in same parking lot). Got to my river vacation house with 75% Charge. Thus, it was 75% total battery to get to my destination (240 miles). - software showed 2.8 mi/kwh at arrival. Tires are at 45psi. Cruise Control was at 85mph. Since it took 75% to get there, I accurately assumed it would be 75% to get home (it was), so knowing I'd arrive with (maybe 1%), I elected to charge on the way home in Barstow (EA station at Walmart) for 5 minutes. Arrived and began charging at 315kw....charged 80 miles of range in 5 minutes. Drove home and arrived with 19% charge. Final trip totals: 479.1 miles / 165kw / 2.91mi/kw / total charging cost for both charges was $45. Obviously not epic mileage, but was cruising at 85mph with massage and AC. I was wondering what my true-life experience would be if I drove it without being concerned about range. A great overall experience, and thought I'd share for my fellow lead-foots out there wondering about range at higher speeds. Seems most videos are everyone trying to hyper-milage their cars.
