I also charge to 80% with 309 rated miles. However, there are times when the app will incorrectly show the dynamic miles (usually 276) as the rated miles. The car always shows the correct rated miles and after a day or so the app shows the correct rated miles.

Car shows exactly the same. That’s why I don’t bother posting a photo. It’s strange.

I also have an issue where, sometimes, once it DOES reach the target charge, it tells me it can’t charge and I need to call service. Happens with any type of charger. But, hasn’t been happening recently since it doesn’t charge to the target, though it thinks it does.

It’s confused. But still drives like a champ!

Zeiss and others make ‘partially ‘ polarized sunglasses that permit HUD visualization. Randolph sells more than one brand lens that can be used with HUD.

And I hate to say it, but if someone is on the bubble and hasn't ordered yet, I don't know how one could not seriously consider waiting for Lucid to sort some of these hardware and build issues out.

Was this a DE? if so some of that likely has already been addressed.

Our GGT production line finish mid November Took delivery Dec 10. 1500 mile road trip started Dec 24. Car close to flawless ( Dream Drive sometimes reluctant to engage) Driving a Dream. ( Heavy heavy traffic around Savannah. 3 hours to go what normally is 49 minutes. Wife still chilled - great sound, great seat, great massage. Only pressure ? Getting back to charger to avoid idle fees. Really fast. Fastest charger: Mercedes. Tesla and Ionna = very fast. Understandable but disappointed: Range. At 80+ mph range is back to where we were ten years ago. But charging is so fast and so many choices that we did not feel burdened as there was no time for wife to idly shop!

Except if you drove 80+ mph ten years ago you would have had much, much less range than you do now.

Not sure, but I think I remember hearing that the Gravity Homelink will store up to 20 settings.

I’ve been experiencing an air noise issue that started last week and has been getting progressively worse. At first, it was noticeable only at higher speeds, but now I can hear a loud air noise on the passenger side even at 20–30 mph. I asked my spouse to sit in the passenger seat to help pinpoint the source, and she believes the noise is coming from the speaker area on the passenger-side pillar near the door.

In addition, cold air blowing at my feet has become a major concern, especially with the current Chicago temperatures. Regardless of the heater setting, the upper vents blow hot air, but very cold air continuously comes from under the seats for both front passengers.

During heating in Michigan, I would much rather the heat was directed to the floor and windshield rather than all 3 levels of the cabin, however turning off "AC" vents turns it off from "Auto". It seems that Lucid is aware of more tweaking that needs to be done to HVAC. During heating in Michigan, I would much rather the heat was directed to the floor and windshield rather than all 3 levels of the cabin, however turning off "AC" vents turns it off from "Auto". Hopefully they will continue to fine tune...

There’s definitely strange stuff that goes on with the vents. My front vents produce a whistling sound that only started when I began to use the heat in winter. I can get them to stop by turning off the rear vents and fiddling with the front vent settings - but it comes back.

To others’ points - Lucid is aware of whack stuff with the vents. Not sure how they will address, but I am sure they will in due time.

I agree with both of these comments. The HUD sits too high in the field of view, even with the seat raised. It interferes with seeing moving objects near the front of the car. Dimming it helps, but then it’s impossible to see with sunglasses. The HUD is near useless. The one useful feature, the blind spot indicators, could easily be moved to the cockpit screen.

I might be in the minority, but I find my HUD somewhat useful, albeit with the aforementioned downward-vertical adjustment limit at higher seat positions and slight upward tilt on the right side.

For adjustments not possible by software, a one-time mechanical HUD recalibration should suffice for at least one driver-seat-position per car.
My X5’s seat and HUD positions have been set and never changed for at least 4 years now.

I don’t think HVAC needs an overhaul. It does need some work. I will give you that.

For what it’s worth, I have little experience with AUTO since I found it to blow to fast at all times. I use manual all the time and the car is always at manual when I get back in.
Live in a warm climate so haven’t used the heat yet but have noticed in the past with AUTO selected it always only selects the chest vents.

Mine has the high fan, whistling sound, which I just turn the system off and then back on to stop it. Only happens when I remote start the HVAC before getting in car. Never had it not start in Auto when getting in the car without pre-heating with app.

Do you ratchet up the heat to 80 from the app, or only when you get in? Also, does it turn off "auto" mode for fan speed, or just stop air blowing from the chest vents?

Yeah…umm…I have no idea, but I think they’ll “simply” implement Apple’s Car Key thing and Google’s equivalent, versus mess around with “pure” PaaK and THEN integrate with Apple and Google. They’ve already said they’re doing the apple key thing. When? No idea. I think 2H 2026 will be when new features really begin to come out and bugs are killed. Total guess.

I find it useful for the speed limit. I wish we could customize the HUD to show more information.

Yeah, I have finally given in and set the button to Homelink. It does work well, but I would much prefer to set this to change the drive mode to make it easier to switch to "Swift." Sigh
