Does anyone have a fix for this? Already tried to turn them off on the left panel and it shows it's off but they keep going. And tried both resets and the car won't seem to sleep, possibly because it's charging. But the wipers will not stop. They even run with the driver's door open.
 
They've been going nonstop for 24 hours. Anyone have any suggestions?
 
Is there a fuse box like an ice car? Can I pull a fuse to shut them off?
 
Sounds like an ideal problem for customer service to solve

They were no help yesterday and are closed today.

Fortunately the wipers stopped this morning as I was packing up to go home. Gonna be interesting if have to turn them on during the drive. Expecting some weather issues on the drive

Weird issue--glad it's solved (for now). Please let us know if this returns.
 
Given that it continued through resets I would suspect the mechanical contact in the turn signal stalk. Sticky or contaminated?

Maybe. But not being able to turn them off at all using the left panel even when the car was parked overnight? Idk. But as I said, they won't even turn on now
 
did the rubber wear out by now?
 
They stopped on their own after about 24 hours. The wipers are actually fine. Every one of the secondary problems were a result of the charge port door malfunction.
 
I learned an awful lot from this experience. If anyone has a similar experience with a charge port door motor failure and the associated other failures and warnings, send me a DM. I might be able to help. Hope it doesn't happen to you... Or to me again

Happening to me currently. Spent Easter in Port Aransas and it rained all
Day Sunday. I spent Monday driving 250 miles with the wipers on constantly and the charge door not working. They have replaced the charge port once already. It seems apparent rain is creating the issue. Any help to get this resolved once and for all with Lucid would be greatly appreciated. They had the vehicle twice now for this issue for a total of 9 weeks
