Lucid Gravity after 2 months
First of all, many people here wrote comments clearly trying to wear me down. That’s fine. I was away from this forum for almost two months, and during that time I continued using the Lucid Gravity. Unfortunately, the problems did not decrease — they increased.
I left my car at the service center, and it stayed there for 12 days. They were able to fix about half of the issues on the list I provided, but they could not fix the other half. After the service, I reported the remaining problems again. They told me they would schedule another appointment, but that appointment has still not been set.
Here is the current situation, item by item:

Here is the current situation, item by item:
- Please do not mix Lucid Gravity experiences with Lucid Air experiences.
The Gravity is a completely new vehicle and has many different issues. There is no rule that features or behavior from the Air should also work the same way on the Gravity. Many things are dismissed with “those features haven’t arrived on Gravity yet.” Even the service team often doesn’t know what to do and simply says they are trying to solve the issue. - The key fob problem is still ongoing.
Despite one update performed at the service center and another update done remotely by placing the key close to the car, unlocking and locking with the key fob still works intermittently or not at all. They replaced the battery — no change. They replaced the key fob entirely — still no change. - Making phone calls via Bluetooth in the car is impossible.
The other party cannot hear you at all. - Since there is no CarPlay or Android Auto, you are forced to use Lucid navigation.
It is not consistent. It mixes up routes or tries to take unnecessarily long paths. When you send an address from Google Maps on your phone to the car using the Lucid App, the vehicle shows a notification saying the location was received, but the address never appears in the navigation system. - The second-row seats never close properly from the rear.
Because the seats rub against each other, they cannot be closed automatically. You must press the button first and then physically help the seats close by hand. The service claims this was fixed, but it was not successful. - The last software update came last week.
One of the main release notes said that switching between users was faster. Yes — it is faster
It used to take 45 seconds; now it takes 35 seconds.
You still cannot switch profiles while the car is moving like you can in a Tesla. The car must be in Park. Also, if you enter a navigation destination and then switch profiles, the destination is erased and must be entered again in the new profile. This is very impractical. - When you get into the car, you must wait 3–5 seconds before you can drive.
The car’s system does not allow you to move immediately. It always “thinks” first.
