I can't imagine a "partial install". If you have some of the update, perhaps it is just the app to car connection not showing it as installed. Since there are few features outside of the splash screen and NFC card behavior, it might be that checking if NFC card will start car within two minutes of unlocking door works - everything else in the update seems designed to prevent errors, making verification difficult.

Rivian is way behind Lucid , Rivians don’t have LIDAR or access to a supercomputer. Nuro already testing Gravities. That’s why Rivian released the news, they were falling behind.

Not sure how they’re “way” behind. Rivian is going to ship lidar in their vehicles next year, along with hands free driving not just on highways. Everything HC_79 is accurate. Rivian released hands free driving on highways for both models in March 2025. Lucid released only for Air in July 2025. Where is our Gravity hands free driving today? Where is hands free driving on suburban roads?

    • Enhanced cellular network resume behavior so connections come online more reliably after sleep or low-power states.

No Lidar integration in Rivian right now. Developing that takes time, maybe 6 months behind. But they haven’t even started testing LIDAR.

Don’t mean to detract from the update, which I am very curious about, but I don’t notice any glare from HUD on your windshield. Funny, that structure/awning in front of you looks like on your windshield. Separately, new entrance screen/image looks sick lol.

I got the tech package with the outlets but not the HU display as I don't like that feature in my wife's Hyundai (makes me want to use the HU display as a scope and pretend to shoot the cars in front of me)

but back to the update...

Thanks, mine also failed and said it’s on 3.1.0 now so I’m glad I’m not the only one (always easier to solve software issues that are reproducible!).
