Here are Gravity OTA 3.3.20 release notes:
  • Welcome Experience
    • Improved system startup time when opening the door or starting the car.
    • Added a new splash screen for a better entry experience.
  • Access & Driving
    • Enhanced key fob detection for improved reliability.
    • Updated logic to allow driving with key fob as long as driver occupancy is detected/unchanged from initial key fob detection in some instances.
    • Changes to simplify the ability to drive using the NFC card.
      • After unlocking the vehicle using the NFC card, drivers now have the ability to begin driving the car without the need to reauthenticate the NFC card on the center console. (Reauthentication is required after two minutes)
  • Cameras & Surround View
    • Improved camera stability to support more reliable, consistent performance.
  • Instrument Cluster & Widgets
    • Addressed cases where certain widgets or icons on the instrument cluster may briefly flicker or take extra time to appear after startup or a reboot.
    • Improved behavior of media applications and other widgets so they stay in sync with user input.
  • Media & Audio
    • Addressed an issue where the audio source could sometimes switch to the wrong input after a Bluetooth call instead of returning to the previously selected source.
    • Improved audio system wake-up behavior after resume, reducing a potential delay experienced before audio returned.
  • Navigation & Maps
    • Handled some instances of incompatible Tesla chargers being displayed through search.
    • Updated the navigation engine for improved route display and reliability.
    • Corrected issues where the route line might temporarily disappear on certain screens or stop updating when another app is in focus.
    • Addressed potential flicker in the home/navigation widgets on the cluster.
    • Stabilized the vehicle location in rare instances of map drift while vehicle is stationary.
  • Climate Control
    • Reduced noise and excessive fan speed of the climate control system at vehicle startup.
    • Update to align the HVAC fan speed with the command made in the infotainment during vehicle start up, exit and entry.
  • Over-the-air (OTA) Software
    • Improved how software versions are stored and reported so OTA versions don’t show incorrect values after startup.
    • More resilient communication of software version information between systems.
  • Cloud & Sanctuary
    • Improved download performance and reliability for Sanctuary and cloud-delivered content.
  • Network & Core System
    • Enhanced cellular network resume behavior so connections come online more reliably after sleep or low-power states.
    • Addressed rare conditions that could cause system instability.
  • Lighting
    • Removed errant “Headlight Error” message which appeared during some charging sessions where primary headlight function was not affected.
  • General Stability & Performance
    • Numerous under-the-hood improvements across displays, vehicle communication, and system health monitoring to improve overall stability and reduce edge-case issues.
The release is imminent. We are looking forward to everyone's feedback.

They said they were hoping it would be released tonight, but didn’t sound confident. They said HQ told them not to deliver any more vehicles without the update.

3.3.9 seems worse for me on the black screens or how long they take to load up in general. This was never a problem in 3.3.5 but now it can take like 5-10 seconds getting into the car that the screens show up. Which is funny because thats the shit it should fix in that update ...

Since 3.3.5 I wait about a week to see how an update is behaving.
I'll do the same with the impending one unless the results/posts are overwhelmingly positive.

Honestly, I'm just deluding myself. :)
Something we're all entitled or perhaps prone to do from time to time.

I usually tell myself to wait for posts from members on how an update is behaving.
The posts end up being a mix of great/good and not-so-good/bad over the course of maybe a week.
Unless the results are overwhelmingly bad, after a week, I push the button (launch/self-destruct).
The results have never been overwhelmingly bad such that I'd forego until there's an update to the just released "bad" update.

I used to do that with Windows updates, but the results were clear and obvious.
Not so with these updates, so far.

Based on those release notes, my strategy of waiting a week has been anhilated!
 
Gravity OTA 3.3.20 Thank you Lucid. I'm sure this effort required a number of late nights and coffee. I for one appreciate your efforts to resolve some of these software glitches and make the Gravity the great vehicle that it is close to being!

This sounds like a great update if it does this and doesn’t break anything significant in the process!

Does this mean you can put the card back in your pocket after you are underway and the car will be fine until you need to “restart the car” from a parked position?

Mine as well...she pulls up in her Taycan and tells me how much she hates my Subaru but I don't really want to tell her about Lucid SW drama. Good thing I ordered LT!...I have a legit excuse

Based on a conversation I just had with my service center, they're not confident they'll get it tomorrow. Just pushed to Saturday as well.

You realize, based on previous Lucid updates, that you will still need to update to 3.3.9 before updating to 3.3.20, or do you mean you have waited a while after 3.3.5 and are now on 3.3.9?

Of course.
You can't skip updates.

I waited awhile after 3.3.5; now on 3.3.9.

Update 3.3.20 sounds so comprehensive.
I'm hoping many will receive it before me, so I have some feedback to help me decide when to install it once I receive notice.
 
My Gravity was just offered the update! Wish me luck 😅
