Windows open warning when remotely heating car

Haha. This happened to me two weeks ago and freaked me out because I was on the road at a hotel.
Haven't tried since.
 
Same thing happening to me as well! Just happened again this morning when I went to warm the car.

Yes I am seeing this even though my windows are not open. Also, it does not start HVAC to heat the car.
 
Yeah as best I can tell, it only happens to me when the car is connected to my home charger. When disconnected I never get the warning.

Maybe it’s related to the charge port door being open – maybe it gets confused that something is open
 
I have also noticed that and I also noticed that I don’t see a tile for turning on heated seats and steering wheel. Anyone sees the same ?

Makes sense, but unfortunately it wasn't the case. Not sure if it was app or something else. Not getting that error at least for now.
 
Yes, happens with my gravity.

Interestingly I've only noticed this when I use the iPhone but not my android phone.

In all cases the windows were in fact not open and hearing turned on normally.
 
Yeah definitely a bug, just not sure whether its the car telling the app they're open or the app just getting confused.

I did have my car connected to home charger with charging port opened. So, some of you are right on it is probably considering charging port as window.

I get this message on the app as well even though my windows are definitely shut.
 
I get the same message on my app even when not charging.
 
yes I get that message time to time but its still heats up
 
Getting this message in the app for my Gravity. Not plugged in. Windows all closed.

Sometimes the climate doesn't turn on via the app. Have to do it 2 or 3 times to get to it stick. Not sure if it's related.
