Where did all the extra space go in Gravity Touring?

The touring model has 22-16=6 less large suitcase sized battery modules than GGT. Where did all that volume go? The interior and exterior specs look the same.

The touring model has 22-16=6 less large suitcase sized battery modules than GGT. Where did all that volume go? The interior and exterior specs look the same.

Unlike the larger battery pack in the Air, all of the Gravity's battery modules go under the floorboard of the car except the two modules under the front seats. There is no way removing any of those modules would create accessible interior storage space except for possibly storage drawers under the front seats.

They will reduce the weight of the car, though, possibly marginally improving efficiency. I doubt if it'll do much for handling, as removing underbody modules will actually move the car's center of gravity slightly higher, possibly offsetting any potential gains from lighter weight.

Doubtful. Could probably put a deflated spare in frunk if you wanted. Like the kind Rivian sells.
